We have been here many times over the years but returned for the jamboree. It was sold out both nights we were there and it is always a great experience. The staff are very nice and accomodating. You can wander around the shops before dinner begins. The dinner is served via a line but if you are unable to go... More

They are wonderful musicians and even better showmen. I've visited so many times they should name a building after me! It never gets old though...how could it! Plus, the food is so good I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

The food is amazingly delicious. They serve hundreds of dinners in a walk-through line in just a matter of minutes. We had the beef and chicken, both were perfectly cooked and tender. Beans were tasty, potato was yummy as were the applesauce, biscuit and spice cake. Coffee and lemonade were good too. The show was funny, entertaining and enjoyable. Too... More

We took some out of town guests to this show. They have fun stores to look in before dinner like a leather shop, kids store & blacksmith shop. Dinner starts at 7:30 with the show starting around 8:15 or so & lasts about an hour. Food is great with choices like barbecue beef or chicken or steak. This show has... More

Here's a fun evening for any and everyone. It's a real homespun, folksy, hokey deal North of Durango in a homemade concession deal with a little train, and some other attractions. They try and get you there early because although you order your tickets in advance (phone or internet) you don't actually get them until you show up and the... More

Lovely show put on by the same folks that help serve the food: no fussy stars here! A great evening in Colorado. However, their "town" and "stores" are really not worth spending any time or money on. Also, the train ride is an additional fee. That stung especially considering I was still processing the dinner charge. I was disappointed in... More

Again, this was a repeat visit for us. We enjoyed it so much 2 years ago that we decided to return this year. This dinner and show is so worth the price! The food was great, We got the steak dinner, and there is LOTS of it. They can feed a crowd good, hot food faster than any place I've... More

First have your dinner. Then enjoy a cowboy singing show and comedy after dinner. Dinner and show are scheduled, rain or shine. My advice is NOT to get the coffee with dinner. That tin cup will get hot in just a few seconds. Go for the lemonade instead.

SO sweet and fun! Old fashioned fun! Amazing how quickly they get so many people fed, and the music is great. The park itself is pretty sweet and the little train is adorable. Just a great family fun night that locals enjoy year after year for special occasions.

There's more to do in Durango than the bar scene. After a day in the river, take in the VERY wholesome Bar D Chuck Wagon dinner show. The food is good and the meal is satisfying. Choices are limited. You can have barbecued beef, barbecued chicken, or both. You can opt for the 12 oz. steak. You're served on a... More
