Here's a fun evening for any and everyone. It's a real homespun, folksy, hokey deal North of Durango in a homemade concession deal with a little train, and some other attractions. They try and get you there early because although you order your tickets in advance (phone or internet) you don't actually get them until you show up and the... More

Lovely show put on by the same folks that help serve the food: no fussy stars here! A great evening in Colorado. However, their "town" and "stores" are really not worth spending any time or money on. Also, the train ride is an additional fee. That stung especially considering I was still processing the dinner charge. I was disappointed in... More

Again, this was a repeat visit for us. We enjoyed it so much 2 years ago that we decided to return this year. This dinner and show is so worth the price! The food was great, We got the steak dinner, and there is LOTS of it. They can feed a crowd good, hot food faster than any place I've... More

First have your dinner. Then enjoy a cowboy singing show and comedy after dinner. Dinner and show are scheduled, rain or shine. My advice is NOT to get the coffee with dinner. That tin cup will get hot in just a few seconds. Go for the lemonade instead.

SO sweet and fun! Old fashioned fun! Amazing how quickly they get so many people fed, and the music is great. The park itself is pretty sweet and the little train is adorable. Just a great family fun night that locals enjoy year after year for special occasions.

There's more to do in Durango than the bar scene. After a day in the river, take in the VERY wholesome Bar D Chuck Wagon dinner show. The food is good and the meal is satisfying. Choices are limited. You can have barbecued beef, barbecued chicken, or both. You can opt for the 12 oz. steak. You're served on a... More

We went to the Bar D Chuckwagon Supper Show and it was very entertaining. There was a Small Chapel where Poetry was read, Train to ride for a tour, and shops for gifts and souvenirs to purchase. The highlight was the food topped by a Fantastic Country music show! This show is worth the trip!

Thoroughly enjoyed the musical group. Food was plentiful and quite good, although I could have stood a bit less barbecue sauce on my meat. Very hilly and hard to negotiate if you have mobility issues - not suitable for handicapped.

A true western experience, my kids love this! You are treated to a great dinner, chicken, brisket, beans, baked potato, applesauce, spice cake, biscuit and don't forget the lemonade (all on tin plates and cups). Everything is so good! Sitting outside under the Aspen trees in the shadow of nearby mountains. After dinner you are treated to a great show, even... More

While the food isn't the main draw, it isn't bad and it's plentiful. $98.00 for three adults. Kids about 1/3 price. Choice of beef, chicken, steak with usual sides. No alcohol. About 15 minutes north of Durango. Easy parking w/ places for bikes and bus/RV. Other reviews pretty much right on but here are housekeeping ideas. Line forms at 5:00... More
