Eat in the same grass that the beef you are eating fed on.... caramelized onions also to go on top.... all the fixins! A Kansas family come to the Rockies to bring wonderful, fresh, local beef, and cheese. One owner assured me he was of no known relation to Jessie James, lol.

Definitely a great place to eat! Everything is from their farm and super high quality grass fed and free range beef. Really tasty food. The price reflects the quality - but I believe you get what you pay for!

We live "in the neighborhood" (Celadon) and "dine" at the James' Ranch "outdoor restaurant" for lunch (great burgers and salads) and buy their meats. Since I grew up loving liver and onions, I have found James Ranch to have the best liver (and steaks) in all of Colorado!

The hamburbers here are amazing! The setting is gorgeous! The people at James Ranch are so friendly! What more could you ask for?? Try it , you will like it. Fresh burger from there grass fed cows, wonder cheese made on sight, organic greens from their garden, it does not get much better than this! Add a beautiful lawn and... More

Had a tour of the facility. Very informative. Then our group had dinner. Organic & very enjoyable. Portions were reasonable and tasty.

James Ranch is well known and worthy of every superlative. I wouldn't buy meat, cheese and eggs anywhere else. So fresh and tasty. I loved walking around the place, seeing the sights.

James Ranch is a working farm which invites you to step inside their world. There are farm tours, kids can pet goats, you can get a delicious farm-fresh meal, or on a special summer night, you may get to see a live band amongst Durangoans in-the-know! The James Ranch is a special place!

We stopped here as it was near Rockwood where we were staying. Order at a booth and they bring the food to your picnic table. Farm fresh grass fed meats- excellent food. Picturesque view!

A fair distance out of town, the food, although home grown and very healthy is rather dull and tasteless, esp. the gluten free bread - hard and uninteresting...not many choices, the setting and the tables, etc. etc. leave lots to be desired.they have a booth at the Farmers' Market with their nice cheeses...we weren't able to take the Ranch tour...
