Hot Springs in the U.S. generally seem to be large swimming pools with geothermal waters. Trimble has the requisite swimming pool, but with plain water. The hot springs are a mild 104 degrees and located in a much smaller "pool" nearby. Call it cozy but it definitely has a nicer feel than going to one of the state's other swimming... More

We stopped in on a Monday afternoon. Olympic pool at 80 degrees (a bit cool for January) Larger lagoon at 104 and small tub at 108. Sauna was nice. We were from Farmington and got the local discount by showing our drivers license. Locker rooms very basic, kinda feels old, but outdoor area very nice. I would come back again... More

A great place to visit while in Durango. It is a little on the expensive side though it is definitely worth a visit. It is tough to get to without your own mode of transport (hire car).

The water was hot and the private rooms (only 2) are nicely furnished. The spa treatment we had (for couples) was good, but rushed. During the day, the pools are filled with families and young children, so it is a good idea to avoid the rush then. Seems several of the locals use this place, and while it is a... More

I've come here many times over the years. In the summer, they have a great swimming pool with a lawn and shady trees to dry off under. In the winter, the hot springs are fabulous. The spa has wonderful massages and spa packages. The utopian package is perfect to help adjust to the altitude and drench yor dry skin.

Located just north of Hermosa and south of Purg this spring sits just beside hwy 550 north... it has a large build up of minerals and looks like a volcano.

I've been in Montana and enjoyed natural hot springs without any commercialization and deer would approach the warm pools to drink as the snow was gently falling. With that mental image from my past it was a little disappointing to pay over $50 for my family of 4 to soak a few hours in a cemented structure holding the natural... More

the hot springs are an amazing natural pool. There are two pools, one a little warmer than the other. This was the most relaxing evening I have had. After a soak in the hot springs, its bed time :)

I love this place. It is clean, I mean, bathrooms are clean, the sidewalks are clean. The sauna is clean. There are places to sit built into the soaking pools and the lap pool is just right. Much less than the Pagosa experience, and nicer imho. Staff is hit or miss, depends on who is there, but most are really... More

Only went here for the swimming in the different temperature pools. Other services such as massage available but I did not check out. I know people who come back here year after year. Once was enough for me.
