With the river trail almost all the way from North Durango to the industrial park area it's a GREAT place to walk and enjoy the beauty of nature. Just look out for the loose dogs. More

I normally walk on the rivertrail for exercise, but have seen tourists walking on it for a kind of self guided tour of Durango. It's pretty clean for having so many people frequent it and it's always fun to see the train or rafters come along. I would definitely recommend! More

I used to ride my bike down this trail nearly every day to get to work. Great scenery and you meet some very nice people along the trail. A caution for the tourist, please don't lay down on/near the bridges to sun yourselves, ok? Very dangerous. More
