Pros: long trail; great scenery along the river; asphalt surface, so it's relatively easy on the knees; well-connected to areas of the city. Cons: easy to take a wrong turn and exit the trail into a neighborhood.

It was an excellent trail for walking or riding a bicycle. The views were great, hills, light on the river, people in the riverbank kayaks. A very relaxing, safe place for exercise and enjoyment

Beautiful river walk that runs through downtown. I caught it around 7:00 when the sun was coming up over the mts. It was stunning, and got several great pix from the bridge.

My wife and I rented bikes and road the trail. Totally comfortable and incredibly scenic. Plenty of ups and downs that made it fun. Highly recommend taking the trail whether you ride bikes or walk.
