Our trip included two half days of riding for the weekend. We are expierenced riders and Aaron and Shawn took us on fantastic trails with amazing views. The horses and mules are in good shape and well cared for, which was important to us. Both guides shared knowledge about the flora and fauna of the San jaun forest, including the... More

We were a family of four (daughters 12 and 8) who went on a two-hour trail ride. The three people we dealt with at Buck's -- Emmy, Aaron, and Sean -- were all just fabulous. Buck's is very lucky to have employees who are professional yet friendly, knowledgeable yet patient. My younger daughter had never ridden a horse before. Sean,... More

Quick and easy to get signed up, very reasonable rates, and knowledge guides. These guys really know their stuff, and are full of fascinating stories and great attitudes! They exude a very authentic, laid-back, cowboy kind-of atmosphere, while also maintaining a professional awareness of what we wanted out of the tour (our guide was a "semi-professional" photographer! He even took... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to write your review. It is so gratifying to have the opportunity to be able to take people like you on our rides. "Jaw-Dropping" is the perfect way to describe the views. Thank you for your good words and appreciate your comments on our wranglers. Please come back and see us again......... More

Had a nice half day ride with Emmy & Chili. Experiencing a ride in the mountain terrain like this was incredible. From climbing up & rocky down climbs and several river crossing. Emmy was a great tour guide she even had great patience with me having a few altitude nausea set backs, we just too a few breaks. Don't forget... More

We did a half day ride with Buck's. It was well worth it, our wrangler Shawn and his faithful dog Chili took us out on a great ride. Awesome scenery to see and Shawn was kind enough to take pictures for us. We had a great time and would do this ride again!!!

We had our first horseback experience yesterday ... some very short 2 hours, even for absolute beginners. The weather was great, a sunny and warm morning, when we arrived everything was prepared. Location is beautifull, and Emmy very warm and gentle. So whoever wants to try horseback ... that´s the place to get started.

Had a great time. Arrived really cold on the motorcycle and Emmy and Shaun made us at home with a hot cup of coffee. Met Rusty the goat and Toni the llama. It was a short two hour ride but beautiful country and Emmy was very good and even took great pics for us. It was a celebration of our... More
