This is one of my favorite places to ski. Lots of long intermediate level (Blue) runs. We were a week ahead of spring break and often times had the whole run to ourselves. Beautiful views and great amenities. Stayed at the Twilightview Condos, right at DMR. A little dated, but, cozy, comfortable & convenient. Plus, best views of Needles.

The weather was perfect - sunny, a light breeze, high 50's - so I knew it was going to be a great day for skiing in Southwest Colorado. My friend decided to take me here over another resort because it was a bit closer to Durango. Although there wasn't a fresh snowfall, the conditions were very good for early March.

This is one of our favorite places to Alpine ski in Colorado. The entire mountain offers a great selection of long and varied runs with incredible views. Fun for all levels of skiers.

The snow was great and the crowd wasn't too bad for a long weekend (Presidents' Day). The ski lift staff were all friendly. The food is very expensive though. May want to pack a lunch and just purchase drinks at the lodges.

If you visit DMR be sure to visit Donna(the snowbike lady) and take the snowbike adventure. learning to ride the snowbike is well worth it..If you want to ski but cant because of back or knee injury this is the perfect activity for you..its a blast and Donna will take good care of you..
