This is a well run, family friendly operation where they take good care of horses and riders. The trail to the cave is through the forest and pretty rocky so it is a slow walk most of the way. You are in good hands and can just relax along the way. We look forward to exploring more trails, perhaps with... More

We enjoyed a stunningly beautiful 2 hour trail ride through the San Juan National Forest with our knowledgable and friendly trail guide Mike. The horses were awesome, very well taken care of and carefully selected by the staff to personalize each rider's experience. My recommendation is to make your reservation in advance and the wranglers at Rapp Corral will be... More

So fun! We took the cave ride and our girls, 7 and 10, had a blast. Our wrangler, Mike, was awesome. We will definitely be back!

My husband signed us up for a 2 hour ride after a referral from a colleague. Our guide Faith was wonderful and friendly. She told us all about the area and pointed out different animal and plant species. The views were absolulty amazing and our pictures do no justice to the real deal. Our family made reservations with the owner, Anne, about a week before we arrived in Durango. We choose to take the early morning Cave Ride at 8:45am. We met Anne immediately when we arrived, she was super nice and very personable! She handled our large group extremely well and got us all set up with appropriate horses! There were 10... More

Wonderful stables to visit for a trail ride. The horses are obviously well taken care of and look great. They are well behaved but not boring! The staff is professional and friendly. My 12-year-old son and I took the one hour ride and loved it! I absolutely recommend it!

This was a great place. We had a person with developmental disabilities and they really went the distance to make this the best ride ever! Great horses and wonderful trail leaders!

Great family fun! The Wranglers were great and full of knowledge. Awesome horses and fantastic views. If you're in the area, you need to stop and visit Rapp Corral.
