Rapp Corral is the place to go for seeing the majestic vistas that the San Juan Mountains have to offer from horseback. The owner Anne Rapp, an amazing horse woman and guide, put together our itinerary. We stayed three nights in Durango and went out on 3 completely different day rides. Day one consisted of a canyon ride that brought us... More

Hi, gosh what kind words! I really enjoyed riding with you all and we did cover some country! Got some sunshine and you all got to try out some rain gear too! We are so blessed with beautiful country and good horses to see it! The best part is being with people that have the love of the back country... More

We reserved a sleigh ride for 10 people for the day before Christmas. We appreciated that they were working on that day. We had two sleighs. The ride was beautiful. A trail around Lake Haviland was spectacular. Just long enough. While we waited for our time slot there was small packages of Smores' to roast around the fire. They provide... More

When we decided to make our trip to Durango, CO for Christmas, the one activity I requested was a sleigh ride. The staff was very friendly and kind. The location is easy to find. I want to go again!

We LOVED the sleigh ride at Rapp Corral! It was a beautiful January day with fresh covered snow. $90 for a family of 3 hour long ride. Some of the best money we have ever spent. This is a MUST do for families or couples or really anyone! Call ahead and make reservations. During the winter they do sleigh rides.... More

Had a great time riding on the trail in Summer, 2014. Our guide just took our family, which was wonderful because she was knowledgeable and patient with us. We did the cave trail ride and it was very fun. However, it was a bit scary if you are an inexperienced rider. The climb to the cave was tough, but our... More

The summer trail rides are outstanding. I have gone several times on the hour and two hour rides with my grand children and my grand daughter has done the cave ride on her own a couple of times. The wranglers are friendly, competent and pay attention to the needs of all of their guests. The scenery is gorgeous. The horses... More

We booked a 2 hour ride. Our wrangler Tarren (sorry hope I spelled you name right) was awesome. The ride was a lot of fun, when we do get back there again we'll definitely do at least the half day ride. Overall it was well worth the money and I'd recommend it to anyone!

My sister and 2 kids aged 6 and 9 enjoyed the trail ride and cave hike with our guide Trish. She was amazing with the kids and actually led my daughter who is 6 on the way to the cave since she had never ridden a horse before. She held onto a rope that was attached to her horse. On... More

This was the highlight of our Colorado road trip from Texas. My wife and I did the 4.5 hr Hermosa Cliffs horseback trek. We couldn't have been more pleased. The views and ride were the best we have been on, and we have been on some great ones. The ascent and descent were challenging, but well worth it. Ann was... More

To be honest, my wife and I didm;t go, but we sent our two college-age daughters on a 3-hour tour (no Gilligan; Island here…) They are VERY experienced horse people (lots of English jumpy-stuff back home), and when on a vacation, always take a horse ride somewhere, so they have a lot of experience on guided horse rides. They came... More
