HOWEVER--they really need to update their equipment. Very nice guide, very knowledgeable and patient. The scenery was really breathtaking at times and we were never cold in the beautiful Colorado sunshine. The equipment was my only disappointment.

My girlfriend and I did the package with the Durango train ride to Cascade Canyon followed by a two hour snowmobiling tour. We had an awesome experience and the scenery in Molas Pass was unbelievable. Our guide Erik (who is also the owner) was great and the snowmobiles worked perfectly. You can tell that Erik is very passionate about what... More

Our group of 6 adults (Ages 45 to 60) took the 2 hour tour and had a FABULOUS time! The trail was well groomed so the beginners in our group stayed on the trail while the more experienced riders ventured out a little into the waist deep powder. The snowmobiles were comfortable and easy to manage, the scenery breathtaking, and... More

For my 30th birthday we went with a group of four and were treated to one of the most amazing experiences of my life. They were quick to evaluate our skills on snowmobiles and gave us extra time and trails to make it even better. I proudly rock their hoodie and ballcap here in Texas and look forward to booking... We went out with a group of 6. We were told to be ready for an adventure because the trials had not been groomed. It was AWESOME, it was a little more technical than I expected when we decided to sign up but I sure glad we did. I dont know that any other snowmobile tour could even compare to... More

We have used another snowmobile company in Durango, but thought we would try something new. We will never try another company again! The scenery we saw with Ice Pirates was breathtaking! Our guide, Dooley, was fabulous and very informative! The machines were very reliable! We didn't have any equipment issues during our excursion like we usually did with the other... More

We had such a thrilling time on New Year's Eve snowmobiling with the Ice Pirates team!!! Lizzie set us up perfectly and answered all our questions before arriving. Our guide, Dave, made sure we had all the right safety equipment and did a great job explaining the machines and safe operation.... but that didn't mean everyone had to go slow!!... More

We road the silverton train and got off at cascade where we were met by one of the guides and were given survival kits filled with a snicker bar, fruit/nut bar, ice pirate sticker and post card, which was a nice treat. He then drove us 45 minutes up the mountain to the snowmobiles. This was the greatest experience for... More
