I was recently on a road trip with my girlfriend and two friends visiting from Peru. We went though south west CO, stopping in Durango, Silverton, and Ouray. In Silverton we wanted to get out into the mountains and do some off-routing. At first we thought about renting a Jeep as we have one at home, then maybe the Polaris... More

This was our first time on snowmobiles and our guides made it a very pleasant experience. We had a 3-hour tour and both my wife and I had our own snowmobiles. It was late in the season, but it was still fun as the guides knew all the best slopes to visit. There are plenty of spots where the guides... More

Our family of 4, including 2 kids age 8 and 10 took the 3 hour tour over Spring Break. We all had a blast and Lizzie and Eric were very accommodating, including changing our reservation from 11 am to 8 am so that we could squeeze another afternoon on the mountain. Great trails and views throughout the tour. It was... More

My family and I had a great time and experience with the Ice Pirates . The views on the trail are breathtaking. Our guide, Matt was great and the rest of the staff was friendly and courteous too. We can't wait to do it again!

We thought it was too late in the season but we were wrong! Our guide, Mike, was so awesome. He answered a ton of questions about the area and took us to the most perfect places for pictures. Lizzie was so helpful also. I took my teenage daughter and niece and we were thrilled...so thrilled that we are going again... More

My family of four took a ride with Ice Pirates over Spring Break 2015. We had a great time! The year before, we snow mobiled through the outfit at the mountain resort. Lovely folks and a fine time but Ice Pirates was an infinitely better experience. It's a little out of the way if you're staying near Purgatory but worth... More

My wife and I took a sunset tour with a private guide who was awesome. Loved the views and the terrain. The owner and guide were very friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend these guys to our friends and family. Not a lame put put tour.

This tour was a little more expensive than the other companies, but it was the only one available on the day we wanted to go. Im sure all group tours are this way, but we had to go really slow and stop a lot to keep everyone together in a single file line. Next time we would book a private... More

We did the train ride, and snowmobile adventure package. The weather on Friday, Feb 27th was truly a winter day. It started snowing during the train ride, and continued the rest of the day. We were picked up in Rockwood, and transported to the Ice Pirates. When we arrived our guide was very helpful in getting everyone fitted for helmets... More

we had a half day ride combined with riding the snow train--our guide, dave, picked us up at rockford, and drove us to the base camp--we were outfitted with safety equipment, and given instructions on operation of the machines--the snowmobiles were well-used, but well maintained--mine trashed it's drive belt, but dave carried a spare, and changed it out in a...
