My friends and I went on a rafting trip in September of 2014 with Mild to Wild Rafting and Jeep Trail Tours and had an absolute blast! The staff was very nice and knowledgeable while still being down to earth and approachable. Our guide, Brendan Grady, took us down class 4 and 5 rapids and gave us very detailed instructions... Frank was our tour guide and we can't say enough about him. He is a native with a lot of experiences and knowledge to share. Super friendly and engaging. And of course, gorgeous place. Great experience!

I chose this provider due to the great reviews. Customer Service wise they delivered. We got same day reservations and the people working the counter were friendly and professional. Our guide was also very nice. We found out once we were on the river that they were about a week out before closing for the season. It was obvious as... More

Hi! We are so glad we delivered on the customer service! We wish we could have provided more water for your rafting trip. The river can be up and down in the fall depending on the rains. We would love to share with you a higher water experience. Give us a call and we will make it worth your while.... More

Booked the jeep tour in Silverton (and the Rail package for the trip down). The weather was pouring rain so we did the enclosed Suburban tour - all in all a good way to spend the rainy day. The tour guide was pretty fearless and didn't let the rain stop him one bit. Even hit snow on the mountain above... More

Sooooooo much fun! Everyone got super wet & laughed the whole way. It was a bit scary as I thought I'd fall out- but obviously never did. One of my friends got Oar happy & accidentally knocked another friend's front tooth out- but even that was hilarious!!! Thanks!!!!

We planned this trip for our "birthiversary" or birthday/anniversary trip and we were on the very last tour of the season. Frank was our tour guide and he was AMAZING!! He stopped at some really nice locations on the way up to Silverton and he offered to take our picture for us several times so we could get the mountains... More

We were a group of four couples with varying degrees of thrill seeking preferences. Mike read the group and modified the itinerary to appeal to all. From fabulous photo opps to a challenging hike up to see a waterfall. It was an awesome day. His deep knowledge of the area and geology was fascinating. As dog lovers, a highlight for... More

We had a terrific time rafting this August...it was a beautiful fall day, and we were the only rafters, so we had our guide all to ourselves. It was thoroughly delightful. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Many thanks!

I highly recommend the Mesa Verde tour from Mild to Wild. The Mild to Wild company was very good about communicating with us prior to the trip. Our guide was great -- very personable and knowledgeable. I'm not certain of his name, but I believe it was Joe. It was nice to sit back and get a ride to Mesa... More

Frank Miller and Joe were our guides, both knowledgeable, fun and by the end of the jeep trip, felt like friends who had shared their 'best kept secret' experiences and sights. Since the weather was very cold, we had enclosed vehicles rather than open-air jeeps; being from California, we were grateful! Absolutely wonderful day! Returning to Durango on the train... More
