The Mayan is an art house theater with a full bar upstairs, and you can take your drink in to the movie. Great fresh popcorn and wonderful indie movies. Try to see the film in the main downstairs theater- it's my favorite with all the weird kitschy Indian decor.

I love going here. You can order wine, coffee, snacks and enjoy a great movie. It's a classic theater - worth a visit.

This is beautifully restored old theater in the Art Deco fashion. The Mayan artwork gives it a unique style. If you love old theaters looking around this place is almost as much fun as watching the movie. Clean and well maintained. Bonus: there is a bar upstairs!

Great venue for movie watching! This is a vintage theatre that is carefully restored. You can get an actual drink and food on the upstairs mezzanine, as well as popcorn, etc. Love coming to this theatre.

Beautiful old movie theatre near downtown Denver. It is built in the Art Deco style with 3 screens. There is a bar and cafe available. The theatre often shows films, including foreign films, not shown anywhere else.

They typically show foreign movies or ones that are highly rated even though perhaps not for the average movie goer. This is a special, historical landmark. It's fun to browse around before or after the movie. Be sure and go upstairs and take a look.

This is a historic building and has a very range of art and cultural film - this is my favorite theater. Not to be missed.

its an older theater and the interior definitely shows its wear and tear. if you don't mind the older style seats and a little bit of old theater smell, you'll appreciate the mayans charm. its great for a date night. grab a drink at the upstairs bar and a popcorn before the movie starts. the management and staff are extremely... A beautifully-restored old theater with incredible murals on the wall and chandeliers. It frequently has different shows there that are fun to see. However, it does not have the more contemporary or the more famous bands. It features mostly local music from unknown bands.
