We had never been here before, but visited while we were on a Jazz tour. It looks like a little dive, the kind we never really frequent, but man you never know... The place used to be an old cantina, and their burritos are good. We were there to listen to Freddie Rodriguez, and apparently he has been playing there... More

What you see on the outside is not what you get on the inside. What you get is the best live jazz in probably a 1500 mile radius with all kinds of talented musicians that are local and international stars dropping in to play. Just awesome!

My girlfriend and I were on a tour that ended at the Pec. We must have been lucky, because we had a local Jazz legend playing for us, Freddie Rodriguez. The music was outstanding, and the burritos were pretty yummy. When you step in this place it's really hard to imagine that all those famous people played here over the... More

Small bar with big music nightly. Jazz mostly, but also blues and R&B. The drinks are ok, cheap beer. Also cheap Mexican food which is average. The music though, world class.

Get here early for a seat, it's a small space but worth getting too! The best Jazz and Blues I have ever heard live was here. I go every chance I can. Bring cash because they don't rely on cards here. The bartender pours them strong so don't plan on driving.

So - this bar is amazing for a number of reasons. The music is top notch. It varies nightly so you would want to check - when we went they were playing blues and it did not disappoint. The clientele is another part of the charm. You will find a completely eclectic mix here - and it makes the atmosphere... More

Went here on the recommendation of my UBER driver. Great place. Gets going around 9. The venue is super-small and there were several couples practicing their dance moves so sitting at the bar gives you the best seat for watching the band. The bar is CASH ONLY but the apple martinis were only $6.

Great jazz, shots of tequila, and friends and family make this place the ideal hangout a few days before my sister got married in Denver. We were expecting a dive bar, and it was but in the best possible sense of the word. The music was fantastic, the bar kept us happy and liquored up, and the scene was mixed... More

Do not go for the wine list or for the ambiance or for the clean bathrooms. The jazz is authentic and right in front of you.

We like going here before the Rockies games as the drinks are about half the price of the surrounding bars. It is a colorfull clientel which keeps the tourists away. The green chili is great and cheap. Most people dont even know they have it. The locals will help you get tickets if you need them. After the game the... More
