Between the great music programs in the Denver schools (50s and 60s) and the Denver Symphony's children's programs I had pretty much decided to become a musician by age 13. Yes the knowledge they provided me led to a decadent life as a rock and roll bass player, but there was a time when I aspired to be the DSO's... More

While Boettcher Hall might have its faults, the acoustics are good, and the Colorady Symphony Orchestra fantastic. They offer a variety of shows from traditional to pop culture (Harry Potter scores, Animanics, Super Hero movies etc). The performing arts complex is in the heart of downtown just a couple of blocks away from the 16th st mall, so there are... More

Saw Handel's Messiah Saturday 12/13/14. Postitively fantastic. All soloists were excellent as was the limited orchestra. Choir was excellent as well. We have been to the CSO many times and have never been disappointed. Will be back early next year for another concert.

We attended the symphony to hear Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 and it was breathtaking. The the symphony and chorus extraordinary. So we returned a month later to hear the performance of Mozart's Requiem. Both were musical experiences to remember and enjoy and next we're going to hear Handel's Messiah in 2 weeks! Elated! Don't miss this Colorado jewel!

The symphony sounds beautiful and performs in a gorgeous room. We enjoyed the "Dancing and Romancing" performance with two professional dancers/singers performing old romantic movie tunes. Wonderful! Worth an evening of your time!! You will enjoy!!

We were fortunate to be invited by AARP for the 09/15/14 celebration of Mexico's Independence with the Colorado Symphony and Mariachi band with folklorico dancers and a special guest vocalist. The seats were awsome and the performance was amazing and memorable

I've been to several performances of the CSO and have enjoyed them all. The Christmas performances are some of my favorite. Bottecher auditorium is cosy and there isn't a bad seat anywhere.

Although I attend during the regular season, I love attending performances here in the off season - the music is heavenly and the venue is great. Great value for your money.

Most people think symphony music is high brow classical music which while appealing to some is not for everyone! But the Colorado Symphony has found a way to make their music a great experience for everyone, young and old, rich and not so rich! This summer they did The Music of Harry Potter and before that music from the Wizard... More
