It is always good to hear great music played by well trained musicians. At a recent concert, they played a tribute to the Boston Pops and Arthur Fiedler. The music sounded very close to the performances I saw in Boston. We have attended several concerts played by the Symphony. If you have not gone to a concert, you should add... More

This was a very well done, down to earth show. I thought it would be a little pompous. But, jeans and having a good time was allowed. Try it.

Quality orchestra that performs a wide variety of music in a beautiful and unique concert hall. Support the arts in Denver.

When my flight was canceled, we were unable to use our Friday night tickets. Robert graciously exchanged our tickets for An Evening with Steve Vai - a superb blending of classical music with an iconic rock guitarist. You must go!

Consistently overachieving, the CSO is (unfortunately) poorly supported for an orchestra that outperforms many others in the country. The musicians are top-notch, and they and the new Music Director, Andrew Litton, bring their A-game to every concert. With a host of fine dining establishments and easy parking close by, an evening on the town can't get much better.

I love his music but for some reason the sound levels were horrible. For some reason the acoustics just were not good the night he performed. Some songs and/or performers needed amplification but some songs w/ a trumpet didn't need a mic setup on the bell of his trumpet. His recordings are fabulous, but this was not a good experience,... Last time I went was a while ago, but they always put on a really nice performance. The theater is intimate and comfortable. And the performances range from the traditional, to having special guests, so interesting themes (like playing all the background music while we watched Oklahoma, the movie, from beginning to end; or a John Williams night -- which... Just a great symphony. Never boring. Inexpensive for what you get. Lots of good programs. Recommend!

The music has always been superb, but you must sit through 10-15 minutes of liberal clap-trap from symphony management at the start of every performance. Have drop my membership because of it.

I have always enjoyed going to see the Colorado Symphony. When I was a child we would go on field trips to see the symphony during the day. We learned about all of the different instruments that were being played and it was nice to hear the music that was played. I have also gone as an adult and it... More
