This was a very interesting place which holds the largest collection of Clyfford Still's art. It isn't very big, but was worth the visit to learn about an artist I really had not known about before.

It's quite an experience to visit a museum with just one artist's work and to get such a sense of the range and interests of this artist. I highly recommend a visit!

I love to go to the museum - it is always a treat. The architecture is actually more interesting than the majority of the artworks. (Just my opinion)

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Still Museum. The interpretation added new insight into the iconic artwork that defines Still's mature artwork with the jagged color fields. And there are plenty of large canvas with subtle variations on what was an almost single minded theme. But there's more than just that type of work. There's plenty of early and formative... More

A small museum focused on a single artist, Clyfford Still, who sold few of his paintings and worked and reworked them obsessively. The plus: his large, very abstract canvases are beautifully presented. The minus: his canvases are big, and the exhibition area (the upper storey) small so you only see the current "show" (i.e., theme).

We took relatives visiting from Michigan to see the museum - not into abstract expressionism or anything beyond the "norm". They were gob smacked! Just knowing the story behind Clyfford Still and how Denver was picked is a fascinating story in itself. This was our 4th visit.

The CSM, hidden behind the DAM was a nice change from the overpowering DAM. Walked into the CSM, and the architecture alone is art work in itself...then you get to see the painting and they were just as spectacular...

A must visit stop when plannng your visit to Denver. Located in the center of a cultural hub of downtown Denver, The Clyfford Still Museum is a unique opportunity to become aquainted or requainted with one of America's most influtential and visually existing artists of the 20th Century. Housed in a near perfectly designed museum building bathing the paintings with... More

Fascinating look into the work of a great American modern artist. This museum takes the artists work from his earliest efforts to the pinnacle of his stature as one of the greats of American modern Art. The museum itself was designed to exclusively present the work of this artist in a setting designed to maximize the impact of the pieces... More

Clyfford Still was a visionary artist with a singular style that he worked over and over with majestic results. This building is a gorgeous treasure in its own right.
