Creative way to spend two hours. I have zero painting experience, but the instructor broke the process down into easy to follow steps, while still encouraging us to embellish with our own brand of creativity! No two paintings look identical and mine did not look exactly like the example, but it didn't matter because I loved the experience. Lively music,... More

I took my little human here for one of there more family-friendly sessions (i.e., early on the weekend) and we had a blast!! Neither one of us are good listeners, so we just went and painted what we wanted. The instructor was super fun, they have snacks and (grown up) beverages and it's a great location in Cherry Creek North... More

Second time doing this. First was with a couple of friends when i visited Denver (at the Claton St location). This time, our team visited Denver (at the Centennial location) for our team building activity and this was part of it. It was very relaxing and absolutely a great experience. There were both male and female in the group, everyone... More

My sister & I did the "butterfly" painting at C&C yesterday, but it almost didn't happen. My sis got rear-ended about 2 blocks from the painting studio (thankfully no serious injury). I was waiting for her at the studio when she tearfully called to say she didn't think she could make the class. All the ladies at the studio (Tara,... More

Let's be clear: this place is mostly for women. I'm in no way saying men can't and don't totally enjoy this venue too, but as you're approaching from outside you will absolutely hear and see a whole lot of the female persuasion. Just keep pressing forward, get checked in and paid up, and find yourself a smock! I have never... More

I have been to Canvas and Cocktails on three visits now. I took my husband for Valentine's Day, and we thoroughly enjoyedourselves. There is no need to worry about whether you can paint or not. The instructors break it down into simple tasks to follow, and they play great music while you carry out their instructions. The bar is always... More

I went here in November 2011 with a group of girlfriends (there were 5 of us) for an early champagne session (It was at 1030 I think). There were mimosas as a part of our package, and then we bought a few bottles of wine amongst us as well. The staff was very friendly and the artists encouraged us to... More

Canvas and Coctails is so much fun! I have been here with a friend, and my boyfriend. There is a huge variety of paintings to choose from. The instructors make painting seem so simple. I have no painting talent whatsoever, and I was very happy with how my painting turned out. It is amazing how all the paintings in the... More

Having no artistic ability or talent, I was a little hesitate to boom this for my wife and I while in the area. We had a blast! Great and fun environment, cheap drinks, fun people, and some good sing along music made for a wonderful evening. Oh yeah and the painting is so low key that it was actually fun... More
