The Cherry Creek bike path is a Denver star. It is right downtown, readily available, free, to anyone who is in the area. It is quiet, free of nearly all street crossings, and divided for pedestrians and bikers. No motorized vehicles are present. One gets a good idea of the city close by, Mile High Stadium, and the major north-south... More

This was an unexpected treat in Denver. We rode the entire trail, 55+ miles and it was a great feature. Paved the entire way. Runs along the river and then heads West for awhile and then North and back. The Western part of the ride up to Bear Creek is a gentle uphill, but the altitude will make it feel... More

This is a fantastic addition to the city, making it easy to get around and stay "in touch" with nature, without leaving the heart of the city.

Mid-week, you are limely to find sectionso the Cherry Creek BIke Path lined with Junkies waiting for the deal. It's intimidating and irritatinng since the Denver Police do little to clean it up. On the weekeds, every hack cycllist in Denver hits this trail. No one gives a darn about the pedestrians or other cyclists and it's a rather nerver... More

good condition of the path and nicely done. I love to ride or walk it. The only thing I would wish for is more light at the downtown end of the path. Would not want to ride it in the dark

On a sunny Saturday in April we rented some hybrid bikes at Bike Doctor on Broadway and set out on a 5 hour leisurely ride that took us from the Cherry Creek Bike path(with a stop at the Modern Art Museum) onto the South Platte River Bike Path(not so scenic) and onto the Hi Line Path and then back to... This bike path is a must-do if you're visiting Denver! It is very spacious, beautiful, and you can ride however long or short you please because of the convenient stops along the trail. You can take the trail all through Denver! Also, on parts of the trail, there's a side for bikers and a side for pedestrians which is nice..... More

I have the privilege of living on the CC bike trail. Love this slice of heaven. Wide open spaces, old shade trees line some of the path. Goes from the central Denver Metro area out into the burbs. Feels safe most of the time. Would not go out late at night but then again this is a big city. The... More
