We enjoyed our day at Elitch Gardens. Its a nice park with a nice asortment of rides and water features. The food and drink is very pricey. If you don't already have tickets, the ticket both is hard to find. Just pray you don't have much thunder

We were walking around Denver waiting until the game at Coors Field started and we came across Elitch Gardens. Crazy expensive to get in. It was a little crowded, and we waited 45 minutes for Mind Eraser. We didn't get the full experience, partly because they had to stop operating most of the rides TWICE because of lightning within 10... More

We visited Elitch about 20 years ago in the old location and really enjoyed it. Visiting this time, we were totally disappointed. It seems too compact with little shade. Twister II was ok. Got crowded later in the day. Mostly walked around since lines were long for most rides. It's very convenient to downtown via car or the light rail.... More

Elitch Gardens is not a terrible park but we only go once a year and we live here in Denver. The park often has really long lines and it is a hot park to visit during the summer. There isn't a lot of shade and their height restrictions are a lot stricter than many other parks for the exact same... More

Visited the park yesterday, hoping to avoid huge crowds given it's a Monday and some schools in the area are already back in session. The good news, the crowds were relatively light. HOWEVER, many of the rides have been shutdown or were not running, yet the management at Elitch's seems to think it's ok to still charge full-price entry fee... More

Came from Iowa and bought our tickets months ago. When we arrived things seemed ok. Got there when park opened and went to amusement park side and had no wait in lines and the rides were pretty good. After an hour we went to the water park side and that was terrible. There was one slide open for the whole... More

My sister and I visit Elitch Gardens every couple of years. On our last visit, the ticket lines were long and the tickets seemed over-priced, especially when you consider everything else you have to or might want to buy once you get into the park -- the overpriced food and beverages if you are hungry or thirsty, the overpriced carnival... My son and I bought season passes this year for the first and last time. We went five times and every time service and quality of food was bad. I complained to the GM after the very first visit and he was very responsive. He asked that I update him on other future experiences. After visit five I emailed him... More

We went to Denver to see a Rockies game that was at night time. Since we have never been to Denver we saw this Theme Park in the morning and said why not. It was a little expensive to get in, 7 people. We did not use the water park side. They had a lot of kiddie rides, that was... More
