There is a top notch water park with wave pool, scream worthy slides and plenty of beach chairs. The rides are fit for most people, unless you are overweight then you are simply not going to fit in most rides. Food is expensive but you can leave and come back. it is a long walk to the free 16th street... More

Had a great time! I took 6 kids with me ages 14-9 and they were happy all day. My only complaint was the water park - it was SLAMMED with people. No lockers were available for our stuff. I could barely keep track of my group. Lines there were really long. The main park was good - standard theme park... More

This is located so close to the interstate and have a variety of rides and games for all ages. It is well worth the money spend and if you buy a season ticket, it comes with a coupon book which saves a lot of money

Elitch Gardens has been in Denver for a very long time. It has been at the current downtown location for about 20 years. As a big fan of Disney World and Disneyland I really did not have high expectations for the park on a visit with my son's middle school symphonic band. The park has a reasonable number of rides... For the last day of summer break last August, I bought tickets through Living Social to surprise our young son. Then I read the reviews – and I started seriously doubting my decision to buy the tickets. There were repeated complaints about the staff, the crowds, the cleanliness, etc. UGH! I was nervous. Once we were there and through the... More

We moved to Denver last year, and coming from VA with multiple theme parks in state and a short drive down/up the East coast, we were spoiled. We live within a ten minute drive of the park and decided to chance an annual pass. I wasn't expecting much, so it met my expectations. Standard spinny, loopy rides, okay roller coasters,... More

This is one of the few spots left in Denver. The kids love it. Fortunately, they have little to compare. If this was Orlando, Brooklyn or any major city ..Elitch Gardens would not exist. Here it has a home and the locals (kids) are happy. Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain

We have been taking our kids and grand kids to Elitch Gardens Theme Park for years. They moved from north west Denver, to the Platte River area 20 years ago. The move was a sign of greed, whereby you were able to take a picnic lunch in the old park and now you must buy their overpriced, poor quality food.... More

If you go every year invest in a season pass. Their website sells them and the price you make back after 2 visits! They have plenty of kid friendly rides for the little ones!
