The Denver Children's Museum is pretty small place, but does the job wearing out the kids. It gets crowded and can get really warm too. The prices are not too bad and it is usually a mad house. There are fun attractions throughout the week so if you are looking for something to do then this is a good place... More

My kids love the children's museum, I love the children's museum. But, it gets BUSY! Like, really, really busy. And sometimes the busyness really gets to me and I become irritated with all children of the world. But it is a wonderful place for children to explore different things at their own pace. The activities for older children are very... More

The kids enjoyed the outdoor part called Joy Park, but the indoor area was so crowded that my kids didn't get to participate in some of the activities. Part of that was because the other kids wouldn't take turns, but, really, it was a madhouse in there. Joy Park was the highlight of the "museum" because fewer children were out... More

Just a short taxi ride from Central Denver, the children's museum is a gem. Hands on learning and fun - indoors and outdoors. Water play, bubbles, construction, exploration - you name it, they have it. Extremely reasonable priced. Lovely story times throughout the day for all ages. Friendly and helpful staff. For example, the taxi to pick us up didn't... More

We have three grandchildren, ages 5,7,9 and they truly love the Children's Museum. For me, a good day at the museum is leaving with the same three kids I came with, and having the strength to drive home. There is so much to do and it makes learning fun. My advice: Go, but have a good breakfast and wear track... More

This was a fun place for kids under the age of 6. Not so much for my 9 year old grand-daughter. It's not really a museum, more of a hands on playground of arts and crafts. The outdoor area really is for toddlers. There were a lot of attractions listed in Denver's guidebook for this place that weren't under construction... More

Lots of interactive things for the kids to do. They have an outside play area and the kids loved it. The staff was friendly and we were even provided sunblock for the outdoor activities. Would come again.

My kids grew up at the Children's Museum. We have hundreds of photos of them playing in the store, using kid-friendly carpentry tools, watching the ball maze to learn physics, learning about dinosaurs, etc. The exhibits rotate so it is never the same thing twice.

We recently returned to the Childrens Museum which is still under construction but what an amazing place! Our grand kids love going and even though work is on going there was much to do. The outdoor play area is unbelievable and no child can go to this museum and ever be bored. Kudos to the people behind the scenes for... More
