We recently returned to the Childrens Museum which is still under construction but what an amazing place! Our grand kids love going and even though work is on going there was much to do. The outdoor play area is unbelievable and no child can go to this museum and ever be bored. Kudos to the people behind the scenes for... More

Our 4 year old grandson loves this place. The tree and kitchen are his favorite activities. Always busy though. This time went on a Tuesday and less crowded. The new Joy Park is great. They do need to supply more shaded areas though.

We had so much fun here!!! Our children especially loved the fire engine and the recycling area. It was quite crowded on the day we were there, but we were still able to have fun with all of the exhibits. So glad we made time for this museum while on our vacation!

Took the 4 year old here - she thought it was great. The indoor stuff upstairs (bubbles, "backyard" play area, food market) kept her busy for about an hour (and she probably would have stayed longer if we had let her), and she enjoyed the outdoor activities as well (zip line, building area, water features). Would recommend if you are... More

Had been before and the children just take off and do things on their own or with adults and other kids. Fun exploration and educational. Would have given it a 5 if it had not been for the heavy traffic that day, not the museums fault but to their credit. Just a little too hectic for me.

Whenever we are in Denver, we try to take our grandkids to the Children's Museum. It is always great but now that some of the improvements are finished, it is amazing! We especially enjoyed the newly opened outdoor area. There is sunscreen available right as you head out. The first stop was a great sand pile/dune. There was plenty of... More

I've spent the last week vacationing in and around Denver with my family, today we decided to spend the afternoon at the Children's Museum of Denver. Our kids are becoming aficionados of children's museums from our vacations, and they really seemed to enjoy the Denver facility. They loved the bubble room, and spent a good portion of our time there... More

This is not a museum with stagnant displays to look at. It is a play place organized around various concepts. When you enter there is a real, full-sized fire truck for children to climb in, around and through. I thought we might never get past that area. Upstairs was an entire room dedicated to bubbles, and another one for building... More

Noisy, crowded, about half the exhibits closed, seems like going to some of those kid party places, although they have a good place for toddlers to run in... kids did have fun in the bubble maker place, that was about it...
