A fun place to go with kids 1 - 7. The bubble room is unique, (although older kids really could use a firm hand to not abuse their time here). The pneumatic tubes, shoeless younger kids area, every play and exploratory area was fun. Only only regret was that we didn't, allow enough time for our visit. We won't make... More

We loved the childrens museum. We stayed for about 3 hours but probably could have stayed much longer. In my opinion this place was extremely well staffs and everything was clean and in working order. Parking was free which was a plus. Only complaint would be is that it was very crowded. This place puts the Atlanta childrens museum to... More

I heard that they opened up a new attraction so I cant comment on that. I believe that this is a good place for the toddlers or younger.

Heard on tv that lots had been done to add to it. Took 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. Coming from a children's museum in Naperville, Illinois and a fabulous children's museum in eagle river Wisconsin. I expected much more. A Saturday visit with only three people selling tickets. Long line. Activities were nothing really special. Bubble area small and floor... More

Thanks for your feedback and we appreciate your time. Saturdays always see an influx of more visitors, but as the weather warms up, our new outdoor area that you described, Joy Park, is an extra 30,000 square feet of fun space when our indoor areas get a little too crowded on those busy days. We ended up here over a holiday weekend when school was out, and at opening, they had a huge line. We debated whether or not it would be worth it, since it looked incredibly crowded, but our 9-year-old and 6-year-old were stir crazy from being inside with cold weather, so we toughed it out. We stayed for about 3-4 hours,... More

Check internet for "free days", it is well worth it! My grandkids LOVED the "Bubble Room" best where you can make HUGE bubbles! It is a "hands on" museum great for all ages! In summer, they have a large sand area outside where kids can dig & make sand castles with provided sand toys! It is both fun & educational.... More

Such a nice place, they should make one like this in the Netherlands. It was busy but still the kids could get a spot without waiting too long to draw or build, or bubble or play. Beautiful space, really educational and set up in a fun way and clear way!

This is a good place for kids and families to spend a few hours. They have a lot to do and see there and it is very affordable to get in and out without spending a ton of money. The parking is free and you can get pretty close to the door most days. They have exhibits and areas for... More

We visited the Children's Museum with our almost-5-year-old twin grandchildren during winter break from school so it was probably more crowded than it would be on an average weekday. It was our first visit since the expansion (we had been there a dozen times or so before it was enlarged) and we all loved the new exhibits and the feeling... More

Thank you so much for your time and this thorough review of your visit! School break weekdays indeed see more visitors, but as the weather warms up our outdoor space, Joy Park, offers an additional 30,000 square feet for guests. We are glad that you had fun in our Water exhibit, and just like you described we do recommend extra... More

Bring the elementary aged kids for some great fun based learning. There truly is something for every type of personality and learner. Choose the time of your visit wisely though as crowds do rule the roost at times.

Thank you so much for visiting and taking the time to write this review! With our 2015 expansion our Museum offers more exhibits and learning opportunities than ever, perfect for all ages of guests. We also have a lot more space to handle those busier days that you describe, including the 30,000 square feet outdoor area, Joy Park. More
