A very nice children's museum. We travel a lot with a small child Intel so we visit lots of children's museum. It's very nice clean Museum with lots to do but I could see that the older child may be bored with some of the activities. I was disappointed in the café. It is very small, the tables were not... This place is very well put together and gives the kids lots of options of things to do and discover. It is kind of small which made it pretty busy but it was also on spring break. It also seems a little pricy for the family but it's for a good cause.

The space it quite small but in reality, it was fine with me. My little one enjoyed each interaction and had a great time.

As an early years teacher of over forty years' standing, having eight grandchildren of my own, and being very familiar with London's Museum of Childhood, I was looking forward to a visit to the museum whilst visiting Denver. However I felt dismayed and humiliated at being told I could not gain admission because I did not have a child with... More

We went on a cold and snowy day with a five year old, two 2 1/2 year olds, and a 6 month old. The free parking was great, but very crowded. There were lockers for cold weather gear, but many of them were hidden, so we had to ask where they were. The inside seemed more spread out that other... More

We stayed an additional day in Denver to visit and were expecting an all American Children's Museum from any major city. It turned out to be very small and with very limited areas. Not bad but we expected a larger venue. It was inexpensive, had free parking. Our four year old had a great time, played in and around a... More

Thank you for your recent visit and review of the Children's Museum of Denver. We are so glad to hear that your four-year-old had a great time! We understand your comments about us being a small venue, and couldn't agree more. We are so very busy, too, which can make it even harder with little ones. We have amazing news... More

We have a 3 1/2 yr old grandson who we have been taking to this museum over the last year. Each time he has a fun learning experience. The standing exhibits are engaging and keep his interest. It's a safe environment, even when crowded (as it was on a recent weekend visit). While we normally start at the ground floor... More

Our 22 month old daughter had a blast at the museum. There were a variety activities for her to do such as playing on a real fire engine, painting, bubbles, working at a veterinarian clinic, shopping at a grocery store, cooking in a kitchen and playing with trains. We appreciated that the museum was open late on Wednesdays and took... More

Staff members are friendly and helpful, and exhibits are in WORKING CONDITION, unlike some museums. I've visited several children's museums since 1987, and I appreciate these two characteristics. My grandson is four, and he especially loved the kinetics, rockets, and bubbles areas. Although we had to go on a Tuesday, Monday is free of class field trips, so that would... More
