The aquarium was an amazing stop for us in Denver. The layout was super cool and we were able to see such a diverse amount of wildlife. Walking through the exhibit there's a lot of stuff to read and details about the fish and aquatic life. My favorite part was the shark tank. I believe they have over 5 different... More

My husband and I LOVE zoos and aquariums. We have been to a LOT of them, including SeaWorld in Orlando. The stingrays at the Denver Aquarium are AMAZING - even BETTER than SeaWorld!! The rest of the aquarium is awesome as well (I personally love all the turtles and the jellyfish) but I absolutely love the stingrays. When you first... More

The walk ways are narrow especially for crowds with children darting fom place to place. The displays were nicely designed, and there was an abundance of tropical fish. Their top marketing exhibit, sharks, left a lot to be desired. If you've never seen a shark, it probably would be a bit exciting, but if you've been to Sea World or... More

For $17.99 each you can see each exhibit in less than 30 minutes - which I do not consider to be worth the price of admission. And don't forget the $7 for parking. There were some good exhibits, but certainly not enough to justify that price. And why tigers in an aquarium?

Our grandchildren love the aquarium. As our five-year-old granddaughter says, "There is so much to see." They particularly love the otter exhibit and the mermaid show. A great place to take kids on a rainy day even though it's a little pricey.

We have been to the aquarium twice in the last year. Great exhibits and amazingly fun for the kids. Get the admission with the add-ons (soda, attractions, 3-D movie) rather than paying individually for these things.

The best part of this aquarium is the large shark tank. They have some very large sharks. I also always love the otters. There are plenty of your standard types of tropical fish, piranhas, turtles, starfish, etc. It is worth the time and money. Couple of negatives though. 1. The piped in "noise" is ridiculously loud. There is no need... More

The aquarium parts are good overall. Bizarre idea to have "mermaids" perform(?) in tanks with the fish. Really, the "mermaids" may be entertaining for small children and lecherous old men, perhaps, but a horrible comment on the desperate measures museums deem necessary to draw visitors. Terrible idea to include the tigers. They pace or sleep. Their space is too small... More
