great smaller aquarium!

Great aquarium, but pretty small, lots of different environments which was really cool! Feeding sting rays is awesome! Hopefully they are not full when you get there!

We dont get to see mermaids in Ireland. Sooo, when we arrived in Denver we were thrilled to get to see real mermaids swimming among the fish and turtles. We went ot the aquarium as well as the restaurant and were treated very well by all the staff. Check in advance what time the mermaids show up and if you... More

The Downtown Aquarium in Denver is conveniently located off of I-25, and there is parking directly across the street for a fee $7.00 daily (the day we visited). I agree with other reviewers here on Trip Advisor that the entry fee per person ($18.99 per adult) is a bit steep for the overall size and aquarium quality. The aquarium is... More

Kinda of small not too many creature to see. They good variety of fish on display but no other variety of species to make mention of. Not worth the fee charged for admission. Probably fine for very young kids

I was disappointed with this facility. Outdated and no real large ocean displays. There was a large variety of ocean life, and an open pool for kids to interact. I felt the cost to get in was not equal to the quality of the displays. I would not return too soon.

Always a good time, the downtown aquarium has been a favorite for my family for many years. We go once or twice a year, and usually have dinner afterwards. Great way to spend time together as a family. We like all of the differently themed aquatic displays, and our two favorites are feeding the stingrays and the different shark species.... More

A wonderful experience this last Mother's Day. The Buffet was fantastic and after a tour of the aquariam was just fantastic. Seeing many varieties of aquatic life. A must see

My nine-year-old nephew loved it but it seemed overpriced to me. Before you enter you get your picture taken in front of a green screen so you have the option of purchasing a very expensive package of photos at the end. The layout was disorienting but never having been to an aquarium, maybe that's how they all are. Wish there... More

The exhibits are very nice, given our landlocked status. My little boy loves it there - the otters and tigers especially. I like how the different areas show off the different kinds of water across the country. Because we live close, and my kiddo likes to go often, we got a membership. BUT - if we were only going once,... More

The Downtown Aquarium is filled with awe inspiring displays and creatures in every single corner! Each display is filled with color, excitement and encouragement for learning about the creatures that live there. Really worth your time and money to see this amazing place!
