We visited the Downtown Denver Aquarium early in the afternoon on a Thursday in mid-July. Parking is plentiful and the lot is located right across the street (it does cost $7 to park, however). I was a little nervous about visiting the aquarium because of past experiences with other aquariums being so crowded that you couldn’t really see or enjoy... More

Even though it is small (compared to Epcot, all aquariums are small), it is a well run operation. The people who run the program are great. They are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Decent gear for the most part, although the fins need a little help. Lots of sharks in the tank along with other fish/animals. One very friendly and... More

Cheesy, overpriced, plus extra crap you can buy once you are in there-Panning for gold, photos with mermaids, there are carnival games at the end. Fake orangutan and fake mermaid tails in with the fish. Don't even bother going if you don't have young kids. My husband and I love a good aquarium, but this was weak.

Expensive, but the exhibits were outstanding. The place was crowded but lines moved well. Sting ray exhibit was fun. Kids were feeding them after alot of encouragment. Once they got started, they didn't want to leave. Allin all, a good time. But the National Aquarium in Baltimore, MD, was better.

This is your typical touristy attraction in so many ways: The Pros: The displays and exhibits are cool and rather extensive. It took us a couple hours to get through. The stingrays are very neat and you don't have to pay extra to pet them. The otters are likely the most awesome exhibit. The Cons: I know that others have... More

We went here as part of a company picnic. The aquarium tour is one long winding walkway, so on a day like today when you have many people and strollers it's more of a zoo than an aquarium! That said, for an aquarium thousands of miles from the ocean, the exhibits are clean and well maintained. The rooms are dark... More

Nice aquarium with lots of different exhibits. We found it to be expensive, especially for families. We really enjoyed that you got the deluxe package you got two "tokens" that you could use to feed the stingrays. They only feed them every so often, so you might have to wait a bit, but it is worth the wait! We found... More

Loved the tour, just over an hour if you really look at everything, the interaction with the animals, and the shows. Kinda pricey, and no military discount.

I spent the morning here with friends and enjoyed every minute watching many kinds of fish and exhibits I did feel that the names of kinds of different fish in the tanks could have been more explicit. Instead of just naming a couple But an enjoyable visit for the price

Great aquarium. Be sure to see the "mermaids" here. Lots of interesting exhibits, even some unexpected ones! Lots of all kinds of aquatic animals plus even has tigers. Took several hours to visit.
