We spent a wonderful day with the family & grandkids at the Denver Aquarium. This is one of the Landry's Seafood Restaurant Family aquariums. I had tempered expectations as I had been to the one on Houston as well as very good Aquariums like the one in Monterey, California. I was pleasantly surprised. It was larger than I expected had... Reading some of these reviews made me question how some thought it was a waste or went through it in less than an hour, but we decided to visit anyway and had a great time! Perhaps if you wouldn't be interested in watching the animals or reading about them, then this activity would not be for you. The only downside... More

I would recommended to visit Denver Aquarium in the middle of week . Winter weeks days usually are not crowded and you can stand in a front of aquariums for how long you wish . It has sea turtles, mermaids ,sawfish , sharks, manta rays and beautiful tigers. It is a fun place to go with children .I think it's a... More

Visited with 2 year old grandchild and her parents. Interesting treat for all of us. Grandchild was a bit uncertain about the pretend gorilla due to the loud noises it made but she seemed interested in all the other attractions. My second visit and will still like to visit again.

Although it was not my first aquarium I've been too, it was my girlfriends. She was blown away and we had such a lovely time. The place is great for little kids all the way to the oldest person you know. I can imagine this place being packed in the summer though. Winter time it was still plenty busy. This... More

We have a restaurant just like this in Houston however ours is of higher quality. The attractions are better by far but we do not have a mermaid show. That show made the trip worth it. Must see that show at least once.

Feel it was really over priced. $5 parking and $18 for my husband and I to get in. Saw everything in about 1.5 hours It wasn't crowded and we could stand in front of the aquariums for as long as we wanted to The large aquariums had sea turtles, manta rays, sting rays, sharks, sawfish, all of the Finding Nemo... It has been over a year since the family ventured to the Denver Downtown Aquarium. We enjoyed a lot of the hands on exhibits and were truly entertained by the wall of water beside our lunch table, allowing us to watch the fish and mermaids while we ate. My 5 year old grandson was in awe of the "ladies" and... More

Worst aquarium I've ever been to! Poor lighting, dirty tanks, TINY habitats. The best part about the whole place is the carousel outside. If you're looking for something fun to do in Denver, go to the zoo.
