Fun Aquarium

This is a nice aquarium. The kids loved it. There's a tiger there which is interesting for an aquarium.

Honestly, this aquarium is not worth the price. It is expensive to get in, and then it's just...mediocre. As a relatively recent Denver resident, this is one of the places I went in order to discover my new city, and I immediately understood why all my Denver friends said to go, once, and then never go again. It is a... More

I haven't been to a lot of aquariums so I have nothing to compare it to. I went with my daughter and two granddaughters ages 2 1/2 and 1. They both loved it - especially the mermaids! We loved their "mermaid show". Outside there is a train and merry-go-round you can ride for $3 each. As you walk into the... More

This is a great aquarium with a lot of unique displays. My kids never get tired of it. In addition to animal exhibits there are a lot of activities for kids toward the end of the exhibits, along with a stingray feeding pool. Don't miss the mermaids!

As a highly experienced aquarium hobbies/specialist who has dived, snorkeled, and visited several of the world's best, I have ridiculously high standards, but still. Despite a few large windows into the undersea world, the DA is a lost opportunity. The trout tanks are mediocre and represent a large aquarium more than a Colorado ecosystem. Could and should have been so... More

Fun aquarium with lots of fish and large sharks, many colors of starfish and a rushing water to get you wet in the desert. We could not see the mermaids swim because if so many people but fun to see from a corner. They have a tiger at tge aquarium so lots of animals to amaze any age child. You... More

The aquarium is one in a million. The facility is always clean and super fun to visit. The restaurant is one reason why I keep going back. Having dinner just inches from a wall of fish is mesmerizing. You can just stare off into the water and watch the fish chase each other around while you're enjoying dinner and great... More

Loved the Mermaid show as it was a part of our childhood imagination. My nephew loved this place especially the tiger, which he didnt want to leave. My 3.5 year old nephew and 22 month old niece enjoyed feeding and touching the stingray. There was a small under water walkthrough where we got the opportunity to see the big sting... More

We took a weekend trip to Denver to see some of the attractions that we had not visited before. Went to the Downtown Denver Aquarium and were very pleased at what a quality attraction it was. The aquarium has quite a variety of sea life, reptiles, and wildlife exhibits all nestled in a very attractive environment. I especially liked the... More
