We have a membership and we definitely get our moneys worth!! For our daughter it is an easy decision to go to the aquarium after school and great during the winter. One of the few venues great for the working parents as it is open later. We have been members 2 years now and I am amazed at the fish... more

My fiance and I went to Denver recently and he surprised me with the "Swim with the Fish" experience. It was really cool! I love snorkeling and I had no idea that we could o it in Denver, CO in October! They take you through the aquarium and show you all of the behind the scenes pipes and water filtration... more

This place isn't cheap, but $15-$20 is on par for aquariums of this type. It is small but well done. Pricing is confusing - the only price they offer is the increased price that "comes with" some stingray food and facepainting and a ride. Read the fine print - you have to ask for the admission price without those ad-ons,... more

If I could split up the review for the aquarium and the restaurant, I would do so as follows: aquarium, 4 stars; restaurant, 1 star. The aquarium was fairly interesting for my 5 year old, which was all we hoped for. But the restaurant was REVOLTING! First of all, when you walk into the aquarium, there is a menu posted... more

The exhibits were nice, strange to find tigers in an aquarium but that exhibit but and the shark tank was the best exhibits there. My husband and I took our 3 year old who loves aquariums and zoos. She enjoyed the visit but I for what we paid almost $60 for all three of us plus another $7 for parking.... more

This aquarium is highly over-rated. It is a decent place, but nothing like the billing makes it out to be. We have been to many aquariums across the United States and it is the worst of them all. Again, not that it was BAD, just that it is not great. Size wise, it is the smallest we have ever been... more

I went to the Downtown Aquarium last year (almost exactly one year ago) and it was amazing, except for the conditions their birds were kept in. The had a blue and gold macaw that was kept in a large enough cage but it only had two perches and one toy, and as someone who has pet parrots, I can tell... more

We visited the Denver Aquarium the day before Thanksgiving 2008. The dinner was nice. The kids (ages 6 and 9) really liked it. We had a slight misunderstanding (my fault), but the staff did everything to accomodate. Katrina was wonderful n the restaurant, as was our server. After dinner we went through the aquarium. I would recommend going through when... more

Our family of four had a great time at this attraction. Its was strange to find tigers in an aquarium but my genius daughter explained that they are swimming tigers to I guess its okay. Many species of aquatic life and they are doing a fine job of maintaining the facility. The restaurant at the end is pretty good. Our... more
