If I can give this place zero stars I would!!! I know it's an original theme park but does the original dust, grime, and filth have to be there too... the place is filthy, the food workers dont wear gloves or hair nets. The funnel cake place was disgusting, I'm surprised the State Health Department hasn't shut Lakeside down. Lakeside... More

Lakeside is like an old, favorite, worn pair of pajamas. It takes you back in time and sure, needs some expensive updating. But for the many coupons and discounts Lakeside offers, it is worth a fun family night. They have a kiddie section and the bigger kids' rides so there is a lot of variety. The flowers were beautiful around... More

I took my family to lakeside for there first time and mine since I was a kid. I love the fact that it really hadn't changed in all those years. But was really disappointed in the fact that they haven't done any maintenance on the appearance of the rides, buildings, or park in general. Looking around I could not believe... More

We always get those vouchers at the end of the school year for $10.50 for unlimited rides for the kids. I've never gone before because I've always heard this place is pretty run down. I was pleasantly surprised. We got there about 4:30pm and did the KiddieLand side of the park for a few hours. My kids are at perfect... More

I loved Lakeside as a child. I guess my fond memories made me give it an extra star. It was a fabulous place to go in the summer with a wonderful swimming pool, the best fun house ever, and the coolest fat lady who couldn't stop laughing. Who can forget the serene and romantic atmosphere as you rode the star ride... More

This is a park that has a special place in my heart. I only wish it was a little better kept (-1 point for run down nature). The price is very affordable especially with coupons. The rides really need to be fixed and updated but the OMG I MAY DIE nature of it all kind of adds to the excitement.... More

If you live a good old fashioned amusement park you will live Lakeside. Rides for the whole family. Old school roller coaster. Ring toss and other great carnival games. Fantastic carousel. It should be in the historic register. I love it. Can't wait to go again.

The history of Lakeside is worth checking out on Wikipedia if you're thinking about going. It's the oldest amusement park in CO and definitely has the classic theme park feel complete with elephant ears, cotton candy and snow cones. You buy tickets (no bracelets here!) and give them to the conductors for each ride. There is a great mini park... More

If you go to Lakeside expecting Six Flags, you will be sorely disappointed. Lakeside is old, it's kitschy, and most of the rides will make you want to vomit (8 out of 10 spin). That being said, this place is awesome for what it is. I grew up coming here with my dad and siblings, and we loved it so... More

My family loves Lakeside. We get a much better vibe here than the other large amusement park in Denver. My kids call it a happy place. Great value too! We especially appreciate the fact that don't gouge you on food and beverage.
