My boyfriend and I bought a Groupon deal for this park and received entry and unlimited ride passes for the two of us for around $25. This park should be considered as a FUN historic landmark... and not compared to other modern, expensive, sleek, tree-less amusement parks. We loved it! Our favorite: The Cyclone wooden roller-coaster (built in 1940 and... More

Lakeside is such a great place to go and have fun without paying a lot and waiting in endless lines. Even on Labor Day weekend, the crowds are totally tolerable. They have a wonderful selection of rides for all ages and desires, and the lines are short, especially the kiddie rides, where my kids would repeatedly get off and on... More

We took our 11-year old grandson to this amusement park. It was a $3 entry fee and $20 for an unlimited ride bracelet for our grandson. This is an historic park, the buildings within were built around the turn of the century. The rides reminded me of carnival rides at a State Fair with the exception of the wooden roller... More

My daughter chose Lakeside for her birthday celebration. All I have to say is the park has a magical vibe to it. They don't gouge you on food and beverages and the overall experience is a great value.

We joined another couple and we each took our 5 year old granddaughters to Lakeside Amusement Park for an afternoon outing. The Park is different in that the park opens from 1 PM - 6 PM for the kiddies...and then at 6 PM Lakeside opens for adult rides. There is a $3.00 per person fee to park...and a $12. fee... More

We both love this park. It's family owned and still lovingly cared for. The coaster is well maintained and great to ride at night. The train ride around the lake is not to be missed. It's really long and the views of the park from the far end are just gorgeous plus the reflection of the lights on the lake.... More

I surprised my husband with a trip to Lakeside Amusement Park, and was excited at the prospect of a completely new experience. I do have to say...it was definitely "new". But what started in complete awe of the Art Deco architecture and classic rides turned into heartbreak over what state this park is now in. Once stately, the rides are... More

This is a great old school amusement park. My kids and I loved it! The lines are short and the staff is great and I love old wooden coasters. During the week opens at 6 and stays open till at least 12. Great kiddie land and great adult rides. Love the train that takes you around the lake.

Love this place! Yes, it's run-down, yes, it's slightly sketchy, yes, they don't have a barista and a falafel stand for you uppity folk! HOWEVER, this place is the quintessential old-school family theme park. Classic rides, classic wooden roller coaster, even a "glass house". The kiddie area is separate-you don't have to roam all over the place. You can pay... More
