I've lived in Colorado for almost 3 years, and have been coming out to the Pikes Peak area for over 55 years. Today was my first visit to the Heritage Center outside of Cripple Creek, and I was so impressed. There is no charge to visit this amazing Center, and it has something for everyone. We enjoyed the displays and hands on environment. The staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the view from the Center over the town of Cripple Creek.

Short movie presentation in the lower level with a covered wagon and various other transportation means of the time. Off that level is a great patio type area with a good view of... More

While my family went on the Mollie Kathleen Mining Tour across the street, my daughter and I looked for something to occupy our time. We stopped in at the Heritage Center on a whim and I was so glad that I did! It was free and had gorgeous views out the back windows. Lots of information about the area and... More
