I've always loved live theater, and it was great fun. It's always fun to see real people on stage giving their all so that you can have a real theatre experience without going to a large city to do it.

If you are any where in the area, and there is a show at the Butte-- Thin Aire Theatre, be sure to go ! Great family entertainment, lots of talent in that theatre -for sure, catch the Olieo -definitely will have you laugh til you cry !! The manager of the theatre is very personable, and a good actor himself....

I have been to the Butte Theatre several times with my family. We always enjoy the show. One of my fondest memories is that of my two children with tears running down their face from laughing sooooo hard. If you can catch the olie do it.
Sound too loud and not clear. Actors were good and variety (2 or 3? shows during summer season). Just fix the sound system
After seeing one play I was hooked. There are not alot of places where you can get this quality of family entertainment. The professional actors with Thin Air Theater Company do a wonderful job. Often times there are community actors who get in on the fun too. The City of Cripple Creek has restored this theater and it is lovely....

We really enjoyed the performance by the Thin Air Theater Company at the historic Butte Theater. Highly recommend to take in a performance!
My wife and I have been to the Butte on three separate occasions. The first was two years ago, (Oct. 2010), to see "Werewolves of Poverty Gulch". More recently we took in "A Haunting at the Old Homestead", (Oct. 2012), and "A Cripple Creek Christmas Carol" (Dec. 2012). On each occasion we were thoroughly entertained, as well as impressed with...

This is a 197 seat theatre from the late 1800s. The acting is fabulous and the cast of the shows is very talented. I have seen Broadway plays in major cities and this venue is better in many ways. The music is beautiful and the concessions are value priced. When we go for a show we make a day of...

My wife was introduced to this little theatre by one of her women's groups and we have gone twice in the last two months. If you have a group looking for an outing or get bored with gambling it a great way to spend a few hours. Well worth the trip from Colorado Springs as well.
Small, old fashioned western opera house. They do melodramas as well as some of the standard fare. We saw an original play that was Halloween based. Lots of fun, good acting, nice presentation. Very informal and very friendly. After the play, they present an Olio which really showcases the variety of talents possessed by the company. I strongly recommend.
