We have gone to a few shows here and they've all been very good with professional actors. They offer afternoon show times as well as evening for reasonable prices. Something different in such a small town.

We went to 2 performances at The Butte Theatre this summer and both were exceptional. The cast performed in both performances of different productions, and did a fantastic job. The voices were professional and engaging. Cripple Creek is best known for casinos, but this theater easily outshines the gambling venue for an evening or afternoon out. It is family oriented... Small & intimate venue, top talent from local and national sources, delivered with innovation and gusto. Have gone several times over the last 6 years and make it a point to go to a show whenever I'm in the Denver-Co Springs area. Inexpensive (typically less than $20) and you're never more than 75 ft from the stage. I sang in... More

Loved it! We spent the weekend in Cripple Creek and attended 2 difference performances. They were both excellent! Not sure how they do it, but the performers acted and sang in both shows! They were so entertaining...high energy, amazing voices! We will definitely be back for their next shows...my only compliant is that they don't offer season tickets!

I was pleasantly surprised when I visited the Theater to see "Guys and Dolls". I didn't expect to see such professionalism and I agree with clivepheasant's comment that this musical could be transported to Broadway or more with no change whatsoever. The entire cast was simply perfect in their role but Matthew Krob stole my heart. Tall, dark and handsome... More

We visited this small theater next to the firehouse and thoroughly enjoyed the melodrama. You get to hoot and hiss at the characters I,e. The villan and the damsel in distress. The 60s Motown show afterward was even better. If you can't have fun here, you are probably not going to have fun anywhere. A great night of entertainment. Very... More

You have to really work at it to not have a good time here. The actors are great and their enthusiasm is contagious.

We visited the Theatre to see Guys and Dolls and can honestly say that the Musical could be transported to London or Broadway with no change of cast whatsoever. The cast could all sing, dance and act and it was a truly memorable and fun evening. Our only disapointment was that we were unable to see it again during our brief... More

We saw the musical Guys and Dolls. The acting and singing was exceptional. I encourage everyone to take the time to see a production there. Make reservations in advance, as groups book matinee shows, taking up most of the seating.

This small theater does a wonderful job - as well as I have seen in big cities. The acting, dancing and especially singing is very well done. The cast also works the concession stand before the show and they are all so friendly. A fun fun experience.
