We went to the Christmas Production and LOVED it! It was a great production and a lot of fun! I would recommend it to everyone (and have). It will become an annual tradition for our family.

Along with three other lady friends, we have stayed in Cripple Creek three times this Fall and seen two plays by the Thin Air cast of performers. They are from various parts of the U.S. and are all most experienced in their acting skills. The theater is extremely nice and seats around 180 attendees. This is a very entertaining group... More

I love to see live theater and since I live in Colorado instead of New York, I love to come to Cripple Creek to the Butte Theater and see what they are putting on stage. The acting is always excellent. So much energy and creativity goes into every production! We just saw The Frozen Man, their original play written for... More

Cool theater with a heritage you can feel flowing from the stage. This is quickly becoming my favorite place for entertainment. We saw The Frozen Man on a Sunday afternoon. We had seven people ages 13-48. The script would drag along if not for the fun performances of the actors. The real entertainment for me was watching the performers have... More

The Butte Theater is such a neat place, it not only holds interesting performances but has historical roots as well. The building is one of Cripple Creek's historical buildings and has a great feel to it, almost like you are stepping back in time as one enters. Though the theater is smaller, it is definitely captivating. If you are into... More

My son went to a play here kicking and screaming last Halloween. When we left he asked when we were going again. We all had a thoroughly great time!!! The Olio after the play was SO good too ... We are going again this year, and maybe even to the Christmas play. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

I went last year to the Dracula production at the Butte Theater. I enjoyed it so much that we are returning this year for the Frozen Man production. Besides the play, the theater group put on a little variety show between acts that had us laughing and singing along with them. This is truly a hidden "gem".

Recently had the pleasure of attending an evening performance of Girl of the Golden West & Olio at the Butte Theater in Cripple Creek. From start to finish this performance was an experience of total joy. The cast of this show were more than professional and made even the most stoic person in the audience become a part of the...
