Just about anything you want to do can be done in this resort area. You have spas, bars and restaurants, mini-golf, wall climbing, ziplines, outdoor concerts, biking/skiing and hiking. The scenery is breathtaking. Just a short trip into Crested Butte from the resort.

After a mix up with our reservation was sorted out we had a great experience with the zip line attraction. It involves a 1/4 mile hike up the mountain to start. It isn't an easy trek for flat landers, but the guide did give us two quick breathing stops. Super fun tour!

The town of Crested Butte, the village of Mt. Crested Butte, the mountains, and the wildflowers all combine to make the perfect vacation spot. Our dream is to hike the Alps in Switzerland -- but if I never do, I can't imagine them being more beautiful than this area of Colorado. The only thing missing is the cows with the... More

We came here for a family vacation and had a fun time. You can take the lift up and then hike to the peak of Mt. Crested Butte or take one of the many hiking/biking trails down the mountain. We saw lots of pika, marmots, chipmunks, and even a fox on our hike. The easy trails were good for my... More

We were here for almost a week during the summer and winter doing everything from skiing, eating, mountain biking, golfing, fishing, and basically anything outdoors you can think of. The mountain is great for beginners and dad can go catch double blacks in the afternoon. The base of the resort has decent restaurants and a free shuttle into Crested Butte... More

July 2014. My wife and I rode the trails at Mt. Crested Butte and had a blast! Being our first time to ride downhill trails, we stuck to the green and blue trails (easy-medium). While you can rent mountain bikes at the resort, we brought our own. We were sporting mid-level hardtail bikes. A helmet is required and good quality... More

After hiking West Maroon Trail, we stopped of for lunch (and good beer!) Beautiful scenery, even in the summer!

Me and my husband visited this resort for about a week and snowboarded. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. If we had a question about what bus to take to get back to the town of Crested Butte, pretty much any local around was able to answer our question.

We have a vacation home not to far away and decided to go skiing for the day. We went the day after christmas and it was busy, but not so busy that the placed was completely crowded. I did the full day beginner adventure ski class and had great instructors. You meet in between the lifts and they first teach... More
