Crested Butte consistently delivers a top quality experience. From booking to reception to meals, skiing (snowboarding), ground transportation and lodging....they consistently outperform our expectations. We will keep going and going and going and going and.... More

I have been an avid snow-skier for many years, but this was my first time to go to Crested Butte. It is certainly not the biggest mountain I have ever skied on, but it has many awesome trails. And even though Crested Butte has a reputation for "extreme skiing", it has plenty of runs for us "basic blue" and "easy... More

While staying in Gunnison, My dad and I decided to drive to Crested Butte to try mountain biking. The mountain is perfectly suited for the summer with racks for bikes on the lifts. At the top we decided to start off slow. The knee and elbow pads helped some, but by lunch we were both beat up and bloody. We... More

Crested Butte may be great for advanced skiers as well, but we stick to the blues and groomed blacks which are plentiful. You get a mix of conditions and terrains with spring skiing, so even after several days we aren't tired of the runs. This year the warm weather didn't let up but the base hung in there and the... Crested Butte is our new favorite ski resort in Colorado. It is well designed so that you can get most anywhere you want to go with the minimum time in a chair lift. The runs accommodate all ski abilities and the blue runs (my level) are the definition “cruisers” as most runs are long, wide, well-marked. My son says the... More

From the free cookies and apple cider placed in convenient locations, to the guest service volunteers who happily answer all our questions, to the most qualified and talented ski instructors you could ever ask for (particularly Meghan O'Toole who was outstanding in every way) --- it is obvious that you are skiing at a 5 Star resort. I cannot possibly... More

No lift lines--a bonus. But spring skiing conditions were icy. More

I found Crested Butte to be a great ski resort. I mainly ski smaller resorts that are a little more isolated to stay away from the crowds. And I usually ski on the weekdays. Crested Butte is one of those "tweener" resorts. Not as big as Vail , but not as small as Monarch Mountain which is about 90 miles... More

Travelled when base snow was around 60 inches, sunny and warm at spring break. Very well groomed each day. More

The mountain is great but I prefer the backside. The front side is for (what I think) beginners, the backside doesn't have any greens or double greens so make sure you are comfortable doing blues and higher. The base is great it has a couple of restraints and rental places. I loved the rental place we had it was called... More
