For the price, view and challenge there is not a better place than CB plus there is never a line so you can really ski until you get tired

We purchased our trip to CBMR through their vacation center and what a huge mistake this was. They claimed that they were giving us huge dis counts on airfare. We found out through the airline that they purchase these tickets in bulk and wholesale prices. We only found this out after they upset us so badly that we tried to... More

CB seems like time passed it by, but only in the best way. CB resort and town are what I would imagine it was like skiing in Colorado 40 or 50 years ago. Very laid back atmosphere, service staff on the mountain were helpful and pleasant, and locals were sprinkled in with the out-of-towners. The resort is small, so don't... More

The marketing phrases "undiscovered", "out of the way", "old time ski resort", "rustic", "locals" are generally accurate, but not at all in a positive way. If you're into skiing, Crested Butte is not the place. It is perhaps undiscovered, but by that it must mean undiscovered by top ski operators and professional instructors. It must be so 'out of the... More

Great skiing even on a week with not much snow. Wide variety of trails. Not your typical western ski resort. A lot of locals

needed more snow, not all runs/lifts open yet, but what were open were very well groomed and fun to ride. Great glade skiing.

Great food at the base, awesome ski school, good mountain for beginners and advance skiers. Non-skiers can even have a fun day at the base of the mountain shopping, eating, zip lining, and tons of other fun things!

CBMR is an amazing resort! Whether it be in the winter or summer months. There is so much terrain this is truly a must visit destination for any adventurer. Due to it's isolation you can kiss the crowds and lines goodbye in this rocky mountain oasis. However make sure you have a map and know where you goi9ng as well... More

CB was voted best ski town in America by Ski Magazine this year, and I agree. It has a solid mix of options for all levels. Some of the more challenging terrains (double black, extremes) aren't open till January due to snow coverage, but Crested Butte always has snow due to the altitude. There is rarely any line for lifts... More
