I came with a ski club for three days of skiing March 28 - 30. It snowed 18 inches before we got there, and continued off and on the first day there. I found a great variety of runs to challenge me and keep me entertained; even the greens were entertaining and scenic. Lift lines were almost non-existent. I have... More

While not the biggest ski area in Colorado, certainly one of the best. We skied here for 4 days in March and loved every minute. We stayed at the Grand Lodge and had a 5 min walk to the base area. Free ski check for base lodging guests was right by the base area, super convenient. The mountain itself offered... More

I am a beginner skier and I took lessons from their great staff. I may not be ready for the Olympic team yet, but I learned at least how to get around on a pair of skis. There are a great variety of ski runs there for all skill levels it appears. There is a great view of all the... More

We traveled as a family of four. The dog sledders were so very nice to us, allowing both kids to interact with the dogs as much as they wanted. We were taken behind the mountain on very fresh snow. The view was beautiful. My son mushed his own team. I felt worried that the dogs would be overutilized or worn... More

Without a doubt, Crested Butte is our favorite ski destination. The slopes are perfect and our family of skiers and a rider truly enjoy Crested Butte. The people in town and on the slopes are incredibly friendly and fun to be around. Cannot go wrong!

I know, I know you don't go to a ski resort to shop. But not everyone skis all the time. We all know NOT to buy ski wear at the slope. So once you have sat and watched 10,000 skiers come down and laughed at the funny hats, then what? There was precious little to walk around and see once... More

There are no lift lines here and the resort is for everyone. I love the fact there are no lift lines and the mountain is suited to every skier/boarder!

Locals are awesome and the skiing was great. We had fresh powder every day when we were there and had a ball! I would go back to CB in a heart beat!

The one thing you notice almost immediately at Crested Butte is the number of advanced skiers and boarders come here. There are so many really challenging double diamond runs here that even the most advanced skiers and riders feel pushed. That's not to say it's only a resort for those with advanced skills. There's plenty of intermediate blues and enough... More

And extreme double black diamonds for those who are up for it. Maybe not crowded since it was midweek. Easy to get around, figure out where to go.
