Nice spot

Cute place, easy to visit. Not much time is required. Probably impacts those that are more into cycling. Worth a quick look for all.

The docent was very helpful, and there were scores of interesting historical things about Crested Butte. You really have to go here if you're in Crested Butte.

If you or your kids are at all into mountain biking or the history of the Crested Butte area stop in for a visit. Came to the Museum, while vacationing in Crested Butte to see the recognition of our friend, Steve Tilford who is a mountain biking legend. Ended up buying some souvenirs in the museum and enjoyed my visit. Surprised how small it was!!

Neat history of the town, timeline of historical events. Small section of mountain biking. Presents mining and railroad heritage.

Loved the photo portraits and stories of the old-time residents. nice museum with working model railroad and history of mining (the mountain bike section is a part of the museum). Nice little book/gift shop and old country store. Friendly, helpful staff.

Got it check it out. It's a way to give back to CB if you stop in for a visit. I found it interesting just to see early pics of Gary Fisher who I just met in Madison this past Spring. A legend! It's kicky and fun to see the exhibits and the entrance fee is worth the great trails... More
