I tried snowboarding. I failed miserably. Thankfully, the lodge had a great bar and nice warm hot chocolate. I watched college basketball while my wife finished skiing. The snow was a little icy, but the slopes were well groomed.

We chose Copper based on family reviews and pricing. I have 7 year old twins and a 9 year old. We didn't want to break the bank on their first time skiing. Lodging: We chose to stay in The Cirque. The Copper lodging staff was amazing, and our room was one of the cleanest that we had ever stayed in...anywhere.... More

Came here primarily for the kids to learn to ski. Booked lessons, ski hire etc exceptionally easily and avoided the morning rush by picking up equipment that same afternoon. This meant the kids got on their skis to have a trail run out before their first lesson. Whilst we were pushing them about on the snow, an instructor who'd finished... More

Our family hit the slopes for the closing weekend and we lucked out with 17 inches of new snow! I ski all over CO and Copper is one of my favorites because it has great variety of steeps and bumps and has easy access all over the mountain. The mountain has a natural division of green, blue, black and double... More

Close to Denver, plenty of terrain, overall a great experience. Look for two for one discounts locally before you pay full price. Great mix of beginner, intermediate, and expert terrain, lots of restaurants in the village and on the mountain, and easy ride to and from Denver - although I would love to stay there with a group of friends... Family of four, 2 girls 10 and 7. We just came for the tubing from Keystone. You need to arrive early to park, find the spot, then go tubing. The lift ticket is a 1 hour pass. If you're late... toooo baaaad. I get it. There are a lot of people who want to do it. It's a good system.... More

We never tried Copper before and wish we had. Everyone in our family loved skiing there and there were many trails for all abilities. Nice long runs and friendly staff. Great snow, challenging runs, and great experience. We will be back.

This was our third trip to Copper in about 13 years and each time I like it more. It could be that I'm becoming a better skier and can cover more of the mountain including all the bowls, but this mountain has enough for everyone! The Timberline Express and the runs around there can get crowded but those blue runs... More

Copper Mountain is not quite as crowded as other mountains and with it's shape the beginning skiers don't mix with the expert.

This review applies strictly to Copper Mountain guest services. I pre-purchased lift tickets for March 20, 2015, which was to be the final day of skiing for me and my two teenage sons before driving back to Indiana. On Tuesday the 17th, our 2nd day of skiing, my younger son fractured his pelvis while skiing at Vail. I spent the... More
