My hiking club signed up for the "Lunch and Lift" and had a fantastic day. The lift begins at 10 AM on weekdays. From the lift, we hiked the service road up to the Solitude Overlook. The two-mile hike offered spectacular scenery but climbed the entire time. We had worked up an appetite by the time we hike down (about... More

We ate lunch in the village and then used our receipt to get free tickets on the ski lift to the top. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and the views were spectacular. Take a cardigan if you ride the lift as the wind can be chilly. Love, lovely day and not crowded at all when... More

We stopped by Copper Mountain on our road trip. It was a summer weekday, and there were very few people there. There were many neat shops and restaurants. We did the lift and lunch. It was so cool to ride the lift up to the restaurant and have lunch. The ride down was beautiful, the scenery was amazing. The people... More

It's not really a secret...but...one of my favorite things about Copper Mountain is that a little ol green skier like me can ride up the Rendezvous Lift and see the top of the mountain! Literally, I can enjoy spectacular views of the Ten-Mile Mountain Range at 11,000 ft! I usually hang out here especially on powder days! Copper is very... More

We stayed in Breck for 2 and a half weeks in Feb/Mar 2015 and made 5-6 day trips to Copper Mountain. Copper is probably the best laid-out mountain I've ridden, with its terrain naturally splitting up green, blue and black riders and skiers. It's incredibly easy to get around and has a wide range of areas to explore, from fairly... More

Cute village and a perfect place to have a picnic halfway though the Vail Pass bike trip. You can ride up the ski lift to over look for miles and miles. The lift ride is free for each person with $12 in purchases anywhere in Copper Mountain Village. We ordered a few drinks with lunch. Children under 12 are free... More

We live in the area and can ski six different mountains, but we have found the Copper Mountain ski school to be the best for teaching children to ski or snow board. Our grandson started at age 3 and is now 6. He loves the school and has learned to both ski and snowboard with confidence. We enjoy skiing the... More

Great for families or groups with riders/skiiers that are needing various types of terrain. Also, great for beginners and experienced riders/skiiers alike, because the beginner hills don't cross paths needlessly with difficult terrain, saving you the headache of dealing with crossing paths with a much more experienced skiier and them from dealing with the inexperienced skiier. This alone, made this... More

I have been here to the Chapel 3 times now. Every Saturday morning, the 7th Day Adventist Church holds a bible study and has a sermon. They follow this with a wonderful and filling vegetarian potluck lunch. Its a great way to start a weekend or weeklong vacation in the Rocky Mountains.

We have worked our way through all of the Summit County ski areas in Colorado, and Copper Mountain is one of our favorites. Maybe not as steep as Arapahoe Basin, but it does not seem to be as crowded as others, and the ski runs are nicely groomed and the lifts are reliable. If you are riding a board, there... More
