Cute village and a perfect place to have a picnic halfway though the Vail Pass bike trip. You can ride up the ski lift to over look for miles and miles. The lift ride is free for each person with $12 in purchases anywhere in Copper Mountain Village. We ordered a few drinks with lunch. Children under 12 are free... More

We live in the area and can ski six different mountains, but we have found the Copper Mountain ski school to be the best for teaching children to ski or snow board. Our grandson started at age 3 and is now 6. He loves the school and has learned to both ski and snowboard with confidence. We enjoy skiing the... More

Great for families or groups with riders/skiiers that are needing various types of terrain. Also, great for beginners and experienced riders/skiiers alike, because the beginner hills don't cross paths needlessly with difficult terrain, saving you the headache of dealing with crossing paths with a much more experienced skiier and them from dealing with the inexperienced skiier. This alone, made this... More

I have been here to the Chapel 3 times now. Every Saturday morning, the 7th Day Adventist Church holds a bible study and has a sermon. They follow this with a wonderful and filling vegetarian potluck lunch. Its a great way to start a weekend or weeklong vacation in the Rocky Mountains.

We have worked our way through all of the Summit County ski areas in Colorado, and Copper Mountain is one of our favorites. Maybe not as steep as Arapahoe Basin, but it does not seem to be as crowded as others, and the ski runs are nicely groomed and the lifts are reliable. If you are riding a board, there... More

Trying to keep up with my old college pals was not easy, but I held my own for at least half of each day. Copper has always been one of my favorite mountains and the increased expert terrain since my last trip here was quite a challenge.

The skiing is awesome! Personally I'm a fan of the runs serviced by Super Bee (when they aren't icy!), but my kids love the Timberline area. Haven't spent much time on the back bowls yet, but the views are gorgeous. When I retire, I want to be one of the Copper Mountain Ambassadors.

Less of a drive off the freeway than Winter Park and a lot of fun blue and black trails. Some great tree riding and nice little bars on site.

Loved the area. We were there for a dock dogs event and everyone was very hospitable. The area is beautiful. The shops are a little, pricey but it is a resort area.

We had hoped to take the t-bar ski lifts up the mountains. It would have been free for a $10 purchase at the gift shop, but we could not do it as it was too windy so the lifts were closed.
