Great skatepark and balloon festival

Huge park with tons of things to do... ice skating, skate park, parks, football field, velodrome, lake, etc. Free for the most part and lots of room to roam

Tons of recreational fields and a beautiful lake to enjoy a quiet and peaceful walk around. Keep an eye out for the eagle that loves to fish here!

We attended the ceremony this year that honors fallen firefighters. My husband is a firefighter and a friend of his was being honored this year. This is a must-see if you are or know someone who is a firefighter. They have done a really nice job with this and once a year they have firefighters from all over the continent come and pay their respects.

We visited Memorial Park while on vacation in Colorado Springs. It's a beautiful park with great views. They have several different areas for the kids to play.

This is an expanse of lawn so get the mountain thing out of your head. The real feature here is the Memorial to fallen firefighters from all over the country.
