There was a lot of bird poop everywhere. Not well kept. Sad, because it has much potential More

Memorial is your average big park, but it's a real hoot Labor Day weekend when the hot air balloons launch. It's a better experience than Albuquerque. More

We were drawn by the memorial to military service and was surprised to find Prospect Lake with access to the water and lots of open green space. Depending on the time of year and the planned activities in the park determines how busy the park becomes during park hours. More

Not much to do. Crowded with homeless and they'll pester you. Used to be a lot better. More

Went to the park based on previous reviews looking for sand beach on a lake. We were seriously disappointed that the beach house and beach was closed do to city budget problems. I would have given this a 'terrible' rating, but the park overall has alot of nice passive and active recreational opportunities. You can still use the lake from... More

This is the best park in Colorado Springs. It has a huge lake that you can stroll around, rent paddle boats or fish. There are tons of birds, geese, ducks, etc. This is home to the huge 4th of July fireworks display and the highly acclaimed Hot Air Balloon Races held over Labor Day each year. There is a velodrome,... More

This is the best park in Colorado Springs! It has everything we need, a large playground, a skate park, shade, picnic tables, a trail and a beautiful pond right in the middle of it. I know they have an indoor pool and stuff too but have never utilized this feature. We love going to this park. More
