Pikes Peak highway in late September was a rejuvenating afternoon. The Aspens had already started turning color. My wife so taken by one of our photos, she put it on canvas. more
They sell a T-shirt at the top that says "Real men don't need guard rails" The drive up is not for the faint hearted. The vistas are absolutely spectacular. The side hikes are well worth the time. We drove to the summit. The views were awsome. The road a little freeky at times. The switchbacks were scarey at times. I would do it again if I could see something once we got up there.
