Lots of lawn. Lots of dogs and not all owners pick-up after their pets. If you like to throw frisbees--lots of room for that. Could have panhandlers, depending upon the time of year. Walk around Colorado College and the Fine Arts Center. Those are worthwhile and close.

My boyfriend and I visited this park for an early morning walk, as it was less than a mile away from the bed and breakfast we were staying in. It is very well-maintained and in a wealthy, safe, historic neighborhood. It was interesting to see all the large, old homes on the way there.
The park itself has dirt trails...

We enjoyed visiting this park. We walked the trail with our dogs. The trail is well maintained. Can't wait to go back when the gardens are in bloom!
