The Money Museum is a great place to visit and get a fairly complete history of the American Dollar. They even have a room dedicated to the Gold Coin Currency from the First part of the 20th Century and until the Gold Currency was called from circulation. Also, on Saturdays they have an event that you will want to take... More

We saved this museum for a rainy afternoon and found it far more engaging than expected. It's so well done that there's a tension between reading the explanations and actually looking at the coins. We spent so much time in the current pirate treasure exhibit and the vault exhibit that we barely got through the excellent coin history collection downstairs... More

I am interested in coins, so am a natural audience for this place. The rest of my family is not particularly interested, and this place failed to grab their attention.

Wow! The displays here were awesome! Ancient monies, Spanish galleons, valuable coins, all types of money from all ages and cultures. It was truly amazing. A wonderful way for adults to spend 1-2 hours.

Last Saturday my husband and I went to the ANA Money Museum. (Every 3rd Saturday of the month admission is free.) This is a small museum, but very nicely done. There was a demonstration of making coins with a hand press, a regular exhibit in the basement of the history of money (nicely displayed with information and displays of actual... More

It honestly just depends what exhibits they have showing...one time I went and the had the very first American coin....then another time I went and it was just about "Native American Currency" that really had nothing to do with currency. I personally didn't find that engaging. You can also get coins straight from the mint if you collect coins. Check... More

We actually went here because our teenage sons wanted to see the museum. The exhibits were very impressive and we learned quite a bit about the history of types of money from all over the world. Definitely and interesting museum and worth the trip for us. The museum is not huge so it does not take too long to go... More

Neat place to visit and a lot of history on the various types of currencies throughout the centuries. Educational and enjoyable.
