This is really a nice tour. Jacque, our guide, is an Olympic weightlifter...all 105 pounds of her. She did a great job showing us the facility, and answering our many questions. Worth the time to stop.

The tour guide was an athlete that lived onsite, and she told us all about the sports that train there. We saw many venues, and some athletes training. Loved it! and it was FREE!

Take time to walk around this old ENT AIR FORCE BASE. I had our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner-Dance there in 1975 before it was to become the OLYMPIC TRAINING CENTER. Then I lived across the street for many years in the 80's - It is just a COOL INSPIRATIONAL VOYAGE & if you take your time you will run into some... More

Though I[m proud that this is in my home town, one time is enough to visit unless there is a special event. Given a choice between seeing mostly-empty gymnasiums, a mostly empty cafeteria and looking at the glass swimming observation flume (through a glass window from outside), and the other outstanding attractions in the city--I'd go to the other. Highlights:... More

We enjoyed our tour here. There is a good video and you get to see the campus and are given a guided tour of some of the buildings. We did not actually see any athletes training, which would have made it better, but it was still inspiring to see where some of our medalists have trained.

Great movie before tour, nice tour, very informative guides, and it's free , but you can donate and help them out.

From the age of 14 and 16 for girls, you can set your goals to be accepted to train for the Gold. Personal physical trainers work with kids training them for the opportunity to represent the U.S.A. at the Summer Olympics. View the areas where they train and the history of the Olympics. The Olympics is not federally funded but... More

14 sports train at this OTC, one of 4 in the US. If you're lucky, one of the athletes in training could be your tour guide. The dedication each athlete brings to their sport is inspiring. Just sorry that they've begun charging for the tours rather than keeping them free as they have been in the past.

This was a great tour. Very informative. If you are in Colorado springs, its a must do. It doesn't take a long time. Its all walking outside, some inside viewing. No cost in July, but they did say they will be charging come September. Its a good place to get a good idea how these athletic's train. We met some... More
