We visited on a rainy summer day, and we were worried about much of the tour being outside. However, our fears were unfounded because even though it did sprinkle on us a bit, we were inside of multiple buildings after the awe-inspiring video. Our kids - 8 and 10 - really enjoyed the tour guide, who was an Olympic weightlifter... more

We visited on a Sunday so they didn't have the walking tour going on. However, they told us that the tour was just a walk on the OUTSIDE of the buildings anyway with a guide. We walked through this rather small complex by ourselvs and our kids got to run around. We were able to look inside a few windows... more

The movie was good but the free walking tour was long and rather boring. The tour we went on was rather crowded and we did a lot of walking and standing. It took about 2 hours which was way too long. The girft shop was overpriced. more

They offer free 1 hour guided tours. We got to see the men’s gymnastic gym, weight room, swimming pool, dorms. When the guided part of the tour was over, we caught the end of an indoor shooting competition. There are many great photo opportunities. There is a small museum with interesting artifacts including medals, tickets, programs, torches, etc. There is... more

As a resident of Colorado Springs, I have visited many times. I always get that heartwarming feeling especially when you see the walk of flags. I was completing a scrapbook about the 2008 Olympics and wanted to include pictures of this beautiful place. All of the statues from the different sports added to my album. The huge statue outside of... more

A tough visit with young kids. I enjoyed the parts I got to see, but my toddler made it tough to keep up with the group. It didn't help that the only bathroom that visitors are allowed to use is in the visitor center. So, we had to leave halfway through the tour and walk all the way back to... more

We enjoyed our tour here very much, expecially since we were there during the olympics. Our guide was a female wight lifter who was in training there. We got to see several of the facilities and learned a lot about how the athletes train. Definitely worth your time if you are in the area. more

It is free and worth the time for a visit. It is bit difficult to find as there are not many signs for the Center as there are for so many other attractions in Colorado Springs, not sure why. They have a tour which was very interesting especially since the summer Olympics are next month. The tour lasts only about... more

My hubbie's a huge sports/Olympics fan and a coach, so we had to make a detour on our Colorado trip to come here. And since I spent 9 months living in Colo. Springs, I obliged because I wanted to revisit this beautiful place. The training center isn't huge and spectacular, but if you're into that sort of thing, you'll like... more

We had a very hard time finding this place! You would think the city of Colorado Springs would be proud of this wonderful place. We went to the Air Force Academy first and saw the sign for the Olympic Training Center going north on I 25. Coming back south, there wasn't a sign at the exit. Turned around and went... more
