Great place for the kids

A good place for kids to 'let off steam' and adults enjoy the joy expressed by their kids. The adjoining book store is also worth a visit.

First off, it's imperative to understand that this is a faith based organization. This information is easily discoverable using rudimentary computer skills, and therefore visitors should not be shocked by the forwardness of the books, themes, or staff. If you wish to be closed minded, that is your prerogative, but understand that you walked through their doors by your own... More

One of the most enjoyable places to take kids in Colorado Springs. Lots of hands-on exhibits and climbing areas, videos, a place for toddlers, secret rooms, an airplane to play in, costumes and puppets for them to put on their own show, a three-story slide, a restaurant, lots of seating for adults. And best of all, IT'S FREE.

We often take our young grandchildren to Focus on the Family because they have several play areas for different ages that are free. It is especially nice when the weather does not allow playing outside.

Too bad Tripadvisor doesn't have a Zero rating because that is what the Focus on the Family Welcome Center deserves. The whole experience reeks of far right wing religious propaganda. What I saw and heard there was a cherry picking of the passages of the bible (old and New Testament) that backed up the close minded bile that spews from... More

Whether a fan of the radio broadcasts for adults or kids, anyone would be blessed to visit. A very nice bookstore and history of the ministry, along with a great hands-on depiction of Odyssey which kids and adults can enjoy.

I have wanted to visit Focus on the Family Welcome Center for over 20 years, ever since I first became acquainted with Dr. Dobson and the whole Focus on the Family team as a young mom. I loved our time at the Welcome Center and want to return to visit the entire campus. We even had ice cream at Whit's... More
