Convinced my husband into doing this and was so glad we did! We took the van up and rode bikes down...what an incredible experience and our guides Joshua and Carson were outstanding. They were extremely safety conscious, which was greatly appreciated. We stopped numerous times on the way down for picture taking and explanations of the landscape. If you are... More

My teenage son and I did the Gold Camp trail, and it was our favorite part of our trip to CO. I wish I could do this ride every day of my life. I've never felt so free and alive as I did when I was coasting down the mountain! The views were indescribable and incredible. The weather was gorgeous.... More

Took the ride and rail, so enjoyed a leisurely train ride up on the cog train. Don't wear slippery pants. I spent the entire time trying not to slide off the wood seat onto the person facing me, but the ride was a hoot with commentary from the energized hostess. The September weather was perfect as you could see for... More

Just do it! It's so much fun. We had a party of 5, our 3 "kids" in their 30's and parents (late 50's). Carson & Joshua were so much fun as guides/drivers taking us up the mountain and then guiding us down. The bikes are brand new every year and clearly are top shelf, in great shape. We are weekend... We recently rode the mountain bikes from the summit of Pike's Peak to the bottom, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! A few in our group were apprehensive after driving to the top on those cliff-side roads with views for miles, but once we started the trip down we were very relaxed. After being well prepared with the few rules and... More

I took the Pikes Peak Mountain Bike Tour - the alternative tour called "Gold Camp Road Route". It was excellent. It is run by Scott, who specializes in this particular route and is very passionate about it. The Gold Camp Road Route bike tour is much better than the Pikes Peak tour for several reasons. I drove up to Pikes... More

Great experience on fun bikes. Interesting guides who added lots of humor and fun facts to the trip down.

We took the cog railroad up to the top of Pike's Peak and then did the bike ride down. I'm terrified of heights and was wondering why in the world I decided this would be a good idea when we got up to the top. The bikes they provide are top notch with specialized brakes (which I used liberally, especially... More

We took the Ride & Bike tour; cog railroad to the top of Pikes Peak, then rode bikes down. This was so much fun! Spencer & Peter took great care of us. They got us to the train, were waiting for us at the top, then did a great job explaining how to ride down the mountain safely. We were... More
