The road up to the stables can be a little trickey, but otherwise this was the highlight of our trip. Very friendly and knowledgeable guides. Beginners will have a good time even on difficult terrain.

My best friend and I chose to do this as we both love horses and the outdoors. It was a perfect way to see the beautiful mountains up close and see the scenery. Our guides were an amazing mother/daughter duo. They were extremely knowledgeable and comforting. It has been over 5 years since I have been on a horse so... More

It's family owned and operated and the people are wonderful. The horses and the trails were beautiful and the overall experience was very enjoyable. I would highly recommend these stables to anyone.

The location is a very unique and exciting place to go for a trail ride not far from Colorado Springs. The guides were very knowledgable and accommodating. The scenic drive up to the stables was half the experience and the horse ride was, well just breathtaking. I loved the staff, the scenery, the horses and all the rest. I would... More

I haven't ridden for many years and my husband is a complete novice so we needed a trail ride that didn't feel too basic but was comfortable for beginners. The ride here was perfect, slightly challenging terrain on steady horses, forest trails, good leader, reasonable rates and variety of rides. We took the two hour, a little bit ouch by... More

Friendly hosts and guides and the horses were well behaved, however our two hour ride was not quite what we were expecting. From the photos on the website, I was expecting to experience scenic vistas while galloping through the mountains. It wasn't until we reached the ranch that we found out that our horseback ride was going to be a... More

Chose this place based on the trip advisor reviews. It was a hike on a dirt road to get to the stables. It looks like a small old ghost town. They first have you sign a release that basically says that they are not responsible for anything and that you will be riding at your own risk, it covers everything... More

The owners are true cowboy and cowgirl, don to earth. The cowboys tip their hats to the ladies, just like they should. This is a true ranch, not some gussied up dude ranch as their pot bellied pig (that does tricks for cereal) roams the area around the ranch office. We watched the play between the dog and billy goat... More

Everyone there was so nice and knowledgable. Horses very gentle for novice riders. Scenery amazing. Only negative is the drive up is 5 miles on narrow twisting steep dirt road. Allow your self lots of extra time to drive it. But worth the drive.
