Many "trail" rides are very tame and the horses are more like robots than animals. Not this experience. The horses are trained but you have some control and the mountain ride is spectacular. Staff is very nice and welcoming to this city family.

My wife and I had a good time riding and the staff were professional and pleasant to work with. My only critique is that it's a head-to-tail ride on an established path going at a slow pace. I would love to take a horse out and ride alongside someone else and just get to venture around a valley or field... More

Our family of 4 teenagers and 2 adults had a wonderful time.We are all fairly new at horseriding and appreciated the calm gentle behaviour of the horses. Through no fault of his own, my horse slipped and fell under his front legs but very quickly got up and went on his way unfazed! Our guide Taylor was informative and friendly... More

I like scenery in my rides. (Ridgelines, Canyons, Mountain Views) The old barn and narrow stream featured in this ride is sure to underwhelm. Vehicles trying to pass us on narrow roadways isn't what I had in mind. I feel mislead in the high ratings shown here on Trip Advisor. I wouldn't recommend this unless you are a beginner.

This was our first time riding and our family loved it! All three of my kids (ages 12, 11, & 8), had a great time. We went on the 1 hour ride but the hour flew by so quickly! The scenery was beautiful, the horses were well trained, and the guides were very friendly and knowledgable. We would love to... More

They are not kidding when they say give 30 minutes to get from the Broadmoor to the stables. It is a dirt road that winds up the mountain. The owners and staff are nice and the facility is cleaner and better organized than other stables I've visited. The helmets were in good condition and they had extra jackets available if... More

Horseback riding in the mountains! Whenever I would tell locals we were going horseback riding at the stables at the Broadmoor they all said we had chosen the absolutel best. It was a great ride for our entire family including our two teenagers ranging from beginning rider to experienced. The views were incredible.

First tip... do the Jeep tour that drives you to the stables. It's a gravel mountain road and I'm glad we didn't have to drive it. And they give you opportunity to take pictures and tell you about the area. The staff at the stables were wonderful. They paired us with wonderful hores, even for my 11 year old. Our... More

This was such fun. We took our girls (12 and 14) on the 4th of July. The scenery was so beautiful and our guides were excellent. We had a perfect time.
