They are not kidding when they say give 30 minutes to get from the Broadmoor to the stables. It is a dirt road that winds up the mountain. The owners and staff are nice and the facility is cleaner and better organized than other stables I've visited. The helmets were in good condition and they had extra jackets available if... More

Horseback riding in the mountains! Whenever I would tell locals we were going horseback riding at the stables at the Broadmoor they all said we had chosen the absolutel best. It was a great ride for our entire family including our two teenagers ranging from beginning rider to experienced. The views were incredible.

First tip... do the Jeep tour that drives you to the stables. It's a gravel mountain road and I'm glad we didn't have to drive it. And they give you opportunity to take pictures and tell you about the area. The staff at the stables were wonderful. They paired us with wonderful hores, even for my 11 year old. Our... More

This was such fun. We took our girls (12 and 14) on the 4th of July. The scenery was so beautiful and our guides were excellent. We had a perfect time.

We took a two hour ride with Madison. She made sure we were all comfortable on our mounts and gave us interesting facts about the area's history, fauna and wildlife. We recommended the ride to a few others who were also staying at the Broadmoor. A real Colorado experience.

Awesome People working at this family run stable. Super friendly and beautiful area for a ride. The ride to the stable is just as beautiful as the ride on the horses.

This is the only facility that caters to young kids. My 6 and 4 year went on full size horse rides. It was a 25 min ride led by staff down a dirt road. It was $25 for each kid and I really appreciate the safety helmets, the care to do something geared toward littles and the friendly staff. The... More

Thank you for your comments regarding your recent trip to the stables. We do appreciate when folks let us know where we need improving. Our junior wranglers range from age 15 to 17, and while good with kids and horses, are always looking for ways of improving our guests experience. More

We took a horseback riding adventure with Stables at the Broadmoor. Dennis and Jordan were our guides, along with Bandit the dog. We did 2 hours because it was a better value. We rode on some gravel roads, trails and mountain tops. Truely it was breathtaking! Surrounded by nature! We road by streams quite a bit which was medicine to... More

I would highly recommend this if in the Colorado Springs area. My family got together and rented a cabin for the week and we decided to go on the one hour long horseback ride with Stables of The Broadmoore and loved every minute of the ride. I personally rode "Thor" who was such a sweet and well behaved horse. The... More
