While in Colorado Springs for a week-long family reunion our son booked a trail ride for eight of us at the Stables at the Broadmoor. It was a great experience. This place is halfway up the mountain in a remote area, which made the trails fun for us, but it was difficult to get there. In fact, the last five... More

This family run business is a class act. From the time I called to ask questions and make my reservations to the time we drove off the property we were treated with respect, kindness, and professionalism. We visited over the July 4th weekend and took the one hour trail ride. The guides were all extremely nice and ensured that we... More

The drive up the mountain is of ours a treat in itself. But the moment you arrive at the stables, you are greeted by the family, warm, gracious, and accommodating. The stables are well maintained. The horses are well groomed, cared for and trained. They match you with your ability, and they were spot on. Both guides were informative, interesting... More

First of all the views just driving here were stunning!! This was the second time that me and my sons have been on horses, however, this was the first time that my youngest who is 7 yo rode a horse unassisted. The facility is nicely kept and the horses were very friendly. We took the one hour trail ride and... More

My husband, 12 year old daughter and I went on a two hour trail ride on our recent vacation. I am experienced but my daughter and husband are beginners. Everyone there was so friendly! Cliff was our guide and he was so good with my daughter. He patiently listened to her and answered all of her questions along the trail.... More

My husband and two daughters went on the 1 hour trail ride and we all had a great time. I've been on many trail rides, but this one was one of the best, not only for the scenery and horse riding experience, but also due to the three guides. They were interactive with us the whole way and very engaging... More

We took our daughter here for a birthday outing and she had a wonderful time. This family run spot is amazing and we will for sure be back many times. They guides were so kind and friendly and great with young children. Our youngest was too little to ride, but they had a ton of animals to keep her entertained... More

The road up to the stables can be a little trickey, but otherwise this was the highlight of our trip. Very friendly and knowledgeable guides. Beginners will have a good time even on difficult terrain.

My best friend and I chose to do this as we both love horses and the outdoors. It was a perfect way to see the beautiful mountains up close and see the scenery. Our guides were an amazing mother/daughter duo. They were extremely knowledgeable and comforting. It has been over 5 years since I have been on a horse so... More
