Visisted with my family on July 28, 2009, and was not the same as in 1973. I know this is a long time ago; but back then there were not as many trees and you could see more rock formations. Of course there is still the kissing camels, balanced rock, twins, ship. But the one formation I was looking for... more

Well, Colorado Springs sure has a wonderful welcome mat out for visitors with Garden of the Gods. I have returned many many times to enjoy the quiet, peaceful beauty of God's gift to us. The red rock is visible from my home and shines different in morning, afternoon and early evening. Great picnic areas, scenic trails, drop dead beauty at... more

My wife and I were really enjoying the beauty and wonder of this place. Unbelievable, awesome and so spiritual. A must see...but be careful. After we walking around, enjoying the view, we came back to our car and found out that the windows were broken..our stuff were stolen and the trunk contents were all stolen. We reported it to the... more

This place is beautiful!! It's definitely a must see. You can stay on the main paved pathway, or you can wander further on the dirt paths. Every view is amazing. The rocks are beautiful. Best of all, it's free! This is definitely a place you must visit if in the area. If you?re lucky, like we were, you might catch... more

A great way to spend a few hours. There are paved walking paths through the formations so it is easy to see everything. The visitors center is very nice. Best of all -- it is FREE! The Trading Post is a fun way to spend a little time too. more

This beautiful city park is great fun for all ages. Our teenage boys loved climbing the huge rocks and it was fairly easy for my husband and me to keep up. The views are spectacular. It is handicap friendly. You can easily spend the day exploring and climbing. There are trials with horseback riding tours. The large gift shop has... more

The Garden of the Gods is a great attraction and best of all is the cheapest one in the area! The Garden is City Park, not a national park but is maintained well enough that it could be. The visitor's center is beautiful and full of educational exhibits. We took the $5 bus ride around the park and while it's... more

The scenery was absolute beautiful, but some of the trails are absolutely discusting. You spend more time trying to avoid stepping in horse manure than taking in the views. Try to stay on the more difficult paths that the horse riders avoid and you will be all set. more
