We did not take a guided tour but I bet they are great. We started in the visitors center and watched a 20 minute video on Cadet life. We then shopped for souvenirs in the gift shop. We then walked to the chapel. The chapel is the most beautiful building I have ever seen. We all loved the architecture. We... More

The chapel is very unique and beautiful at the same time. There are two levels to it, and the top was my favorite. When you walk in it is so full of color, it's just amazing! This place is free, and you do need your ID to gain entrance to the academy. Totally worth the visit though!

Be sure to watch the movie on cadet life. The chapel is amazing and beautiful. We could only imagine what it would have been like to see the cadets.

Our family of four toured the Air Force Academy and were so impressed! We went on the complimentary guided tour. The guide was knowledgeable and pointed out key buildings on campus. The chapel is beautiful and we were glad to be able to see the different areas of it (Protestant, Catholic, Jewish and Buddist). The visitor center has some great... More

I was suitably impressed by the Academy and it's various buildings and art work. Well worth a visit if you are in the Springs. The chapel is especially worth seeing. Make sure you have proper identification with you as the security is very strict.

Just seeing the magnificant chapel close up is worth the visit. Security is apparent so allow extra time to run the gauntlet.

The Academy grounds are beautiful! Makes you proud of our military more than ever. The exhibits were informative and very well displayed. The gift shop had such a nice variety of items. The place is absolutely huge!

The Chapel is a beautiful building, with outstanding glasswork. This is a must see. Can be visited year round and on rainy days

It's something everyone should have a look at. If you have a couple of hours, you can tour the Chapel and be in awe. It's a beautiful campus. Block out a couple of hours for this.

The Academy grounds are very pretty, but remember you are on a military installation so proper bearing is a must. The Cadet Chapel is beautiful and the outside does not do the inside justice. The light and sky through the stained glass is amazing. The Chapel contains worship spaces for several faiths, which are open to see, during the posted... More
