This was our second visit. The first time we only visited the chapel itself; we were unable to see the Protestant chapel because there was a wedding. This time we stopped at the visitor's center first. There is an interesting film about what cadet life is like. There is also a gift shop. We didn't stay long after watching the... More

We visited the Academy museum and chapel. The museum has a nice video that shows you the life of a cadet during the first year. The chapel is really beautiful inside and out. Also had to have the kids picture taken in front of the B-52. It was a nice place to spend a couple of hours.

We visited the Air Force Academy museum and chapel on a rainy day, unfortunately. They have an informative video in the museum that gives you a great idea of what it's like for the cadets during their first year at the academy. The theater is very nice and comfortable. The museum was not that great...not a lot of exhibits that... More

It was interesting to see the Air Force Academy. We didn't take time to see the chapel, which it appears is the centerpiece of the tourist marketing. We enjoyed the B-52 bomber that is on static display. It seems smaller than the time I was bird hunting in Eastern Montana and one came over the little rise at what seemed... More

Our daughter graduated from there and went back 10 years later to get married. The Chapel is beautiful.

Spent the afternoon on an official Air Force Academy tour with my two sons and husband. My oldest has applied for college here for next year and this was our opportunity to see the campus. This tour is very informative, interesting and gives you huge insight into academy life. All our questions were answered and we got to speak with... More

Make time for this marvelous venue. Begin your visit with the video in the Visitors Center. Take the walking path with great vistas to the magnificent Chapel.

My father, a World War II fighter pilot--US Army Air Force--and POW, attended a reunion of his 8th Air Force Fighter Group at the Academy some years ago. After his description of the campus, I knew that someday I would like to visit. This is the only military academy that we have had the opportunity to visit and it was... More
