We did the starlight tour that leaves the station at 6:30 p.m. It was so cool! The views are absolutely amazing! See the Royal Gorge up close & personal. The price is reasonable. The employees are very nice and informative. We had seats in coach, but we didn't sit in them. We stayed in the open air car. We had... More

A right royal rip-off. Charged $9 for a small glass of wine. Very tacky with a naff commentary and country and waestern type music through the tannoy nearly all the time. It felt very like Disney - I was only surprised that they didn't have Mickey Mouse waving from the other side of the gorge as the train trundled past

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your experience. Most of our guests find that the excursion is beautiful and priced accurately. We have tried to ensure that our riders have a good time, but cannot guarantee that the majestic gorge, the great food and the first-class service will suit everyone's tastes. Thank you for your comments. More

The train was a great way to see the canyon. Our train was not full so it made it nice to go from our coach seats to the open car several times. If you plan on standing outside in the open car (free), save your money and get the coach seats. Personnel on board are very friendly and nice. Saw... More

Wasn't sure what to expect as I've been on train rides before. Somewhat pricey for a two hour run, but was worth the experience of going through the Gorge, viewing sheer cliff mountains 1k tall, viewing old bridges, new attractions, and of course, the Royal Gorge Bridge

Was a great ride, but would only do once. Would have gotten off and did tram ride to top of gorge if thought we could.

Thank you for your review. The Bridge & Park can be accessed by driving 20 minutes to the west. It is definitely worth experiencing both. More

The first and only suspension bridge in a canyon. The ride is great. There is an area of the train that is "open" to the air and surroundings. The ride I think was about an hour long. Can't wait to do it again.

Don't miss this fantastic adventure. We had trouble with the website booking online so we went in person early next morning. Dean the owner/ Mgr was very apologetic and super nice. All of the staff are super caring, attentive, and friendly. The chef is top notch! Some seating is with the extra money. Very enjoyable experience!

Impressed with the cleanliness of the train and thoroughly enjoyed the "open air" car! The scenery was breathtaking, but did think the price was a bit steep.

I've been on the train a couple of times. The first time it snowed the night before - I thought I'd be disappointed. But the snow showed off the gorge and the scenery so well!
