Tunnel Drive has some of the most beautiful views in all of Canon City. We walked only 1 mile along the trail and took some amazing pictures. This is a definite place to visit if you are in Canon City.

The more difficult part was the first few hundred feet. Once you reach the top it levels out and it's an easy hike. The three tunnels are in the beginning within the first 1/2 mile. It was in the 90's by the time we started so, we made it a very short hike. The one tunnel is long and cool,... More

Loved this short hike, easily accessible for all ages imo. Walking through the tunnels was a major hit with my son. Its two miles each way.

Easily accessible trail doable for anyone in most physical conditions. We went early and did the first 1/2 mile of the trail. We went through all of the tunnels and about 1/4 mile beyond. We were pleasantly surprised to see the Royal Gorge Train come through below and got to see a few rafters as well.

It is a short walk from the parking lot to the top of the hill. Once on top it is a short walk to the tunnels. The entire trail with tunnels is 2 miles. You have an exceptional view of the mountains and Arkansas River. It is a very easy hike and the longest tunnel gives you a nice break... More

It was some Kool history but mostly old caves and lots of walking. The dirt trails where full of animals and the likely hood of being amused is low. It is not fun unless your a mega hiker.

The tunnels were close and easy to walk to with our 7- and 12- year-olds in a light mist. We did this after river rafting and were short on energy and high in hunger so we didn't go beyond the 3rd tunnel. But, we liked what we saw to that point!

I hiked up Tunnel Drive in the early morning. It is a very easy walk. The scenery is beautiful and the long tunnel is very cool. If in Canon City this hike is worth doing.

It is a nice walk. You can see grape creek .It is also a nice bike ride .If you get to hot just take your time in the tunnel to cool off.
