Hard to imagine a road like this is still open in this age of namby pamby litigious behavior. I have lived in Colorado for 52 years and driven every major pass in the state as well as Mt. Evans. This is the most unique drive I have ever made. The scenery is amazing. The road is very narrow without guard... More

We loved this drive so much that we did it a second time at sunset during our week trip. The dinosaur prints were amazing but the view is unforgettable. The road is a little narrow but plenty of room to drive comfortably.

This is a short drive that offers some great views and a chance to see actual dinosaur footprints in the rock. There are some short trails and rocks to climb on at the top as well. It's a great drive to do after Royal Gorge Bridge as it's very close.

When you leave Canon City, be sure to look on the right for the signs for Skyline Drive about 2 miles outside of the city, past the Correctional facility museum. This is an awesome one way drive that brings you up and over the mountain over looking the city. It does have sharp drops on both sides at times and... More

Very narrow one way road. Be sure to stop a the pullout and view the dinosaur tacks. It is not for the faint hearted.

Beautiful mountain views on one side and city views on the other. I imagine this drive would be even more spectacular at sunset.

No room for error here but, oh what a view! This was a beautiful, one-way drive that isn't long, but sure worth the trek.

Awesome view from the ridgeline. It is definitely a little scary at the top since there is a drop off on either side as you drive along the peak. Just go slow and enjoy the view......with both hands on the wheel! No cost, it's a public (one-way) road. Cool quick detour you will talk about for a long time.

A drive worth taking that provides picturesque views of the city and surrounding area, at no cost. Even more fun when on a segway tour with I Lean Ride Co.
