I have been to the Cottonwood Hot Springs a few times and probably won't go back again. The first couple times I was there with just my husband. We had an OK time. The place is pretty run down for how much money they charge to get in. They are improving it slowly, but it's still overpriced for the current... More

Tucked away about 5 miles outside of Buena Vista right on the river. My sister and I got cabin #2 .. rustic and wonderful. The beds were very comfortable, has a kitchen that works great with all we need. You could sleep 8 in here but wow that would be tight sleeping arrangements! I would say 6 would be ok... More

S fantastic hot springs. Magic waters and peaceful vibe. Yes, there are lots of signs dictating behavior.. But it helps everyone understand the norm. Several pools with varying temperatures... From warm bath to super hot. Some pools shaded..much appreciated. Right now they are renovating so not optimal...but the water and quiet are heavenly. Stayed in an overpriced funky cabin...reviewed separately... More

My excellent wife and I have been here 4 time on 2 hot springs tours. Excellent water quality, super pool design, 10 minutes from town. They have rooms and private cabins, but are toooo pricey for us. Oh and they're strict about NO alcohol. Just love the place. It costs about 20 bucks apiece.I wish there were locking lockers, but felt... More

After several visits to this place over the years, on my annual visit to Colorado, and having read other reviews here, I have decided to add my two cents. It's important to note that the intention here is not to be the fanciest or most luxurious hot springs in Colorado, but one of the more laid back and relaxing. This... More

Went on a Thursday evening and the cost was $15 each. We were told Friday is the start of the weekend so the cost increases to $20 apiece. There is a trailer for women to change/shower in that is kind of small and difficult to see in the dark to get into. We didn't see any lockers so leave valuables... More

First, just to be clear, I am reviewing the hot springs experience and not the associated motel. Fancy, this place is not, but the hot springs and hot pools are very nice. We checked in at the office and paid our $15 each for the day. You do need to leave any and all valuables in your vehicle as there... More

If you are looking for a 'fancy' spa/hot springs this is NOT the place for you! It is rustic, quaint and simple. No frills or putting on airs at this place. This was out destination and we had a wonderful day! There are five different pools ranging in temperature from 83 to 106 degrees. You go go from one to... More
