We travel to BV quite often but never checked out Jumping Goat Dairy, so we made a point to do so this time. The store is very small but has several refrigerators with a variety of goat cheeses; spicy, curds, and soft varieties as well as goat milk. There were other items for sale made by locals, cheese boards and... More

Not a whole lot to the place, but a fun place to visit. The store is pretty small, but friendly staff and they offer samples of everything. We left with some local jam and really great cheese we added to the picnic. The absolute best part was visiting all the baby goats. They absolutely loved all the attention.

We seem to always stop by when we visit Buena Vista. The goats are fun to watch. We love sampling the cheeses and different products. We always leave with at least 3 different cheeses. Definetly worth stopping by.

Here's a great place to sample very good cheese, watch goats being milked (twice daily) and see how the family makes its cheeses. We stopped over for the night in our RVs (as part of the harvest hosts program) and were welcomed with a cheese tasting, then got to follow the goats home after their milking and even meet the... What a hoot! Took grands for milking tour (4:30) and enjoyed it as much as they did. Wonderful cheese for purchase in the adjacent shop.

We had fun stopping at the goat dairy store, even though we weren't in town on the days they give tours. I would like to do that sometime. There are goats on the property you can see from the store. We were offered as many samples as we wanted and got a little education in goat cheese. We really enjoyed... More

We stopped here Sept 8 on our first day in BV. The cheese was excellent. You can sample pretty much anything in the store. The lady working the store was so sweet. They do offer tours of the farm but we had our dogs with us in the car and couldnt stay for that. The chavre cheese spreads were my... More

Took our two teenage daughters and went to the Saturday afternoon tour just to see the baby goats. But besides a tour of a working farm, my whole family learned an incredible amount about goats, sustainable farming, how the drought is effecting hay prices, elk migration and more. The animals are a treat: goats, pigs, horses, dogs and one calf... More

Jumpin' Good Goat Dairy, carries THE MOST amazing goat dairy I've ever enjoyed! I'm absolutely in love with their creme de la chevre. And Dawn and company are amazing enough to have ready big batches when I come to town (I email or call in advance) so I can carry stores home with me! <3 Definitely go in and try... More
