Neat little place in Buena Vista where farm to table is happening every day. Took a campy tour of the goat cheese making process, got to feed and pet the baby goats with my daughter, and then you can taste all of the cheese! Fun, free stop on our mountain vacation.

Great little shop selling really good cheese. Petted the goats. A nice stop on our trip. We had a chance to try lots of different cheeses and choose a few to take back to the condo. The goat Blue Cheese went great with our grilled steaks.

If your kids love petting zoos, then this is the family excursion for you. My teenagers loved pettting the goats and sheep. They would have gladly fed hay to the goats for hours and they loved being in the enclosed area where the baby goats jumped on them and they were able to see them being fed with a "surrogate... Great tour and great cheese! Loved all the beautiful goats and even got to hold a baby goat. Everyone was very friendly and Buena Vista is lovely.

Visited this dairy with entire family. Kids enjoyed seeing and petting the goats. Pretty inclusive tour including the milking area and cheese making facility, the cave for storage, and the goats. Cheese sampling as the finale was great. They make wonderful cheeses.

Yes, it's a little shop out (with all do respect) on the outskirts of town. But folks are friendly, the cheese tastes great, and the surrounding scenery beautiful. And if you want to bring a little something back home to the person who doesn't really need anything, how can you miss with a chunk of goat cheese?

This is a tour for all the senses. We were able to attach the milkers to the goats, pet the nannies and kids, and hold a chicken. We saw the humongous whey-fed pig and guard llamas. Then we smelled the aging cheese in the cave and tasted the cheese in the shop. My 6 and 9 year olds loved the... More

LOVE this place. I found it so interesting. And they let you mild the goats! I love the country store and I go there every time I go to Buena Vista. The best goat cheese I've ever had!

The samples were yummy and plentiful, but the goats were what we brought the grandkids to see. We took the 11:30 tour since the 4:00 milking tour would not fit into our schedule. We got to see where the goats were milked, the cheese making process, the cave where the cheese is kept and of course the goats, sheep, pig... More

After reading the reviews, I was looking forward to taking my granddaughters. They are 6 & 7 and love animals. When we arrived, we weren't really greeted; not sure how to proceed. Man working in store said we could see the goats but we couldn't pet them. The girls really wanted to pet those babies! ;) There were several female... More
