Here's a great place to sample very good cheese, watch goats being milked (twice daily) and see how the family makes its cheeses. We stopped over for the night in our RVs (as part of the harvest hosts program) and were welcomed with a cheese tasting, then got to follow the goats home after their milking and even meet the... What a hoot! Took grands for milking tour (4:30) and enjoyed it as much as they did. Wonderful cheese for purchase in the adjacent shop.

We had fun stopping at the goat dairy store, even though we weren't in town on the days they give tours. I would like to do that sometime. There are goats on the property you can see from the store. We were offered as many samples as we wanted and got a little education in goat cheese. We really enjoyed... More

We stopped here Sept 8 on our first day in BV. The cheese was excellent. You can sample pretty much anything in the store. The lady working the store was so sweet. They do offer tours of the farm but we had our dogs with us in the car and couldnt stay for that. The chavre cheese spreads were my... More

Took our two teenage daughters and went to the Saturday afternoon tour just to see the baby goats. But besides a tour of a working farm, my whole family learned an incredible amount about goats, sustainable farming, how the drought is effecting hay prices, elk migration and more. The animals are a treat: goats, pigs, horses, dogs and one calf... More

Jumpin' Good Goat Dairy, carries THE MOST amazing goat dairy I've ever enjoyed! I'm absolutely in love with their creme de la chevre. And Dawn and company are amazing enough to have ready big batches when I come to town (I email or call in advance) so I can carry stores home with me! <3 Definitely go in and try... More

Awesome fun place with great cheeses. I have never had goat cheese before so I was skeptical when the other half wanted to go there. The wonderful lady that met us was the owner or at least the co-owner and was so very friendly. You are allowed to taste different things and pick what you like. We for sure went... More

Before we arrived we had much ribbing about our planned Goat Dairy tour; Oh my heavens did we have a blast. First we were watching as these 13 goats come marching in to get milked and they seemed to like it; and then all who wanted got to help with milking the goats. Playing in the pen with the baby... Mom, Dad, and kids ages 13, 11, and 8 loved every minute of the tour. We started in the cheese sampling cabin where we were encouraged to try everything from unique recipes like Hot Chocolate goat cheese to spreadable varieties with herbs or fruit. We were led to the miking room where everyone had opportunity to place the automated milking... More

Great experience learning about how to make goat cheese & other dairy products. Interesting place with goats, horses, pigs & dogs. Tour guide was very informative. The cheese cellar was amazing & very pungent. The petting area was filled with friendly young goats, a calf, & a sheep. The store was awesome & filled with lots of delicious items to... More
