The hot springs pool is very basic and kept at around 102-105 degrees F. It is fine to unwind after a day of hiking. The locker rooms are clean and functional. Bring a towel and just carry your stuff in a tote onto the deck to save a little money. You can rent towels and lockers if you want. The... More

OK, first of all - do NOT go right into the pools without showering off first. Whether you're grimy from a weekend of camping or pristine from a local shopping trip, the Hot Springs still don't need extra chemicals and dust in the waters. Fortunately, the amenities provide very nice showers equipped with shower gel, shampoos and conditioners (though the... More

Great spot for family fun day trip to swim and take in the spectacular view. Kids love the water slides and the warm water in ,the pools. Hot springs were a little disappointing because they did not have easy access to soak in; they do have adult pools with hot water to lounge in. Definitely would recommend if you are... More

We stayed in a Cliffside room with our teenage son & two toddlers. The room was very large & clean. The views from our outdoor patio were amazing. But if you are bringing small children, we would recommend staying in one of the rooms closer to the pool. The hill to our room was just too steep to use our... More

Hot springs occur naturally in the river next to this resort. You can sit in the river, adjusting stones to control the heat to your liking, or enjoy several pools, each a different temperature. One very large, popular pool is located across the highway from the resort and has a long water slide and plenty of grass and lounge chair... More

For $20 you get a filthy pool.. Slimy on the bottom, stuff floating on top including hair clumps! OMG… the other section, for $35!!!! was clean.. no I didn't opt for the overpriced, but I didn't know I was in the Ghetto! Very hard to get to the creek… forget about it! If you want over priced slime feel free... More

Mt. Princeton Hot Springs in beautiful Buena Vista is a little slice of heaven with gorgeous scenery, excellent food, great rooms or cabins & numerous cascading springs to soak away the woes of the world. If children are in your travel plans, the water slide is sure to please all ages!

Discounted tickets were available for the hot springs at the rafting company we used. Thankfully, we did not purchase them prior to checking out Mt. Princeton. The median age had to be 60 and we did not see any slide. What looks like a resort on the website is actually just concrete pools, no shade, no fun. Definately not worth... More

This place was a little expensive ($80 for 4 of us for the day) but if you can work a whole day of it into your trip to Salida, it's definitely worth the money. We started at the upper pools and spent a few hours at the water slide, short lazy river, pools, and hot tub. My kids had a... More

I thought the place was very nice. The pools were clean and It's very picturesque. We stopped by the hot springs after a rafting trip. In fact, we got our tickets from the rafting company which saved us a couple dollars ($20 instead of $22). BUT...the tickets restricted us to the two main pools. We were kicked out of the... More
