Soothing, tranquil and serene. The best way to enjoy all of the amenities that Mt. Princeton Hot Springs has to offer is to make a reservation and stay overnight either in the hotel or cabins. The areas are separated for day use and overnight guests. The day use is an excellent choice for thermal pools and river experiences. Overnight guests... More

Ok when you get here make sure you find Josh he works in the bath house. What a nice guy and he will tell you all about the place and give you some pointers on where to go. Stay at the hotel, eat at the restaurant it's a pretty great place to hang out for a day or two.

Mt Princeton hot springs is only a 15-min drive from Buena Vista. We only came here for a day trip in March. We opted for the $35/person spa admission since we wanted to be able to use the steamroom/sauna, fitness room, and spa bathroom. if you are a guest at Mt Princeton, access to the pools is free. Otherwise, day... More

We were in Colorado to ski, but not quite acclimated yet so spent a day in other activities. Definitely our visit to Mt Princeton Hot Spring was a highlight for our entire trip. We arrived at nighttime, absolutely freezing, clear January. My husband and I and our 5 children, age 8 to 14, loved the relaxation of the two upper... More

Would would have thought being outside on a cold January day in a swimsuit would be bearable? It was here with the natural hot springs that bubble up from the rocks. We enjoyed the two pools up top, but my favorite spot was in the creek where the row of rocks sheltered a warmth of hot water for people to... More

Being this was my first hot springs adventure I have nothing to compare against. So, here goes .. two hot pools, one closest to bath house much hotter then the 'relaxation' pool for whatever reason. The Chalk Creek hot pools are neat and I recommend making your way down the rocks to the creek. Not for the weak legged as... More

The three chain shings that cascade one from the other with the first area coming ring from the hot spring at 107 degrees F then the second pool in 103 to luke warm and the thrid cascade pool in cooler. Wine in hand in a paper cup and snow falling all around you with big puffy flakes with all was... More

Just got back from a day at the hot springs and feel great. It is very relaxing; a great place to unwind. Located a few miles from Buena Vista with wonderful mountain views and you soak. Mount Princeton Hot Spring Resort has come a long way over the years. The hot springs has added a new spa area to the... More
