Our week in Breckenridge was mainly spent snowboarding, but I decided a dog sledding tour would be a good little break from the mountain for a few hours. We went just last week (end of March '09) and if you're able to shell out the $70 per person it is definitely a fun, memorable experience! Our guide was friendly and... more

Highly recommend the dogsledding option at Good Times Adventure center near Breckenridge, CO. The company provided transportation to and from the hotel to the center which was great for us since we didnt have a vehicle with us. Once we arrived at the center, filled out easy waivers, put on boots provided by the center we were on our way... more

I have been dog sledding before, when I was a kid. My grandfather was a musher (lives in Michigan) and used to race in the Iditarod (big dog sledding race in Alaska). I wanted my 9 yr old daughter to experience the thrill of a "non-motorized" sled ride thru the forest. Little did I know this adventure would be so... more

I have to start out by saying that I never really wanted to do this. This was all my wife's idea, and she has some off-the-wall ideas (e.g., she wants to go out on a shrimping boat and be a working-hand). But she's my wife, and this quirky side is easy to love, so I wasn't surprised when I got... more

Booked the 2 hour summit tour on christmas day, and loved it. After checking in, they supply overals and boots if you need them, as well as helmets. After being given an introdution to the machines, we did some laps on a race circuit to get some familiarisation, before setting off through the meadow. The climb to the summit (and... more

We went dog sledding 23rd December '08 and it was the best experience of our lives! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the dogs were beautiful. Our driver picked us up on Main St, Breckenridge and took us directly to the private valley, where we filled out the easy to complete registration forms and paid for our tour.... more

We took the "Classic Tour" and it was great. We arrived at 9:30 and checked in. You are required to provide a credit card imprint in case of damages to the snow mobile. After the tour the guide will take you back to the check in table to have it torn up. Good Times provides boots, snow mobile suits and... more

We picked a perfect day to dogsled. It was sunny and13 degrees with a few inches of new powder. Being the Mom and the biggest chicken in our family I got to drive first. Once you get the hang of how to turn the sled it is a blast. Our guide Charlie was great at judging who should ride which... more

We went on a dog sledding tour with Good Times this past weekend. It was a blast! They take 6 people out at a time, two are on the sled (one musher and one passenger) and the rest ride in a sleigh attached to a snowmobile that the dogs follow. Everyone switches off during the tour so everyone has a... more
