We bought a snow shoeing groupon, lucky we got to use it just before the season ended! There was a few spots where the snow had melted and we were dirt shoeing but it was alright. The staff were all nice, some were a bit odd, one was a bit too relaxed and one annoyed at someone else that had... More

My family went snowshoeing at the Nordic Center. Our guide was awesome. He lead us through the trees and explained every tree and animal track. We walked to Josie's cabin and our guide explained the history of the gold mining days. I would recommend it to all families.

We took the day off from downhill skiing to slow down the pace & get closer to nature. I brought my own snow shoes but my friends rented equipment. Groupon had a good deal for two trail passes & rentals ($36). The trails are clearly marked & offered beautiful views. Trail pass was $20. If you wanted to snow shoe... More

We enjoyed this snowshoe outing so much with our 6 and 9 year olds. We pushed them a bit much but it was all forgotten once we returned and they got to go sledding! Beautiful area and would have loved to stay longer but will definitely come back Nxt time!

Beautiful lodge and gorgeous trails for all levels. Expensive. We paid $60/person for the pass, the lesson, and the rental. If you take a lesson, go early so you have the rest of the day to practice. We didn't know we could stay and practice after and regretting making afternoon plans. Also, ask about the instructor. Our lesson was with... More

The new Breck Nordic Lodge is beautiful, filled with skies and snowshoes for rent, and enough good stuff to eat you don't have to bring in your own. The XC trails are extensive but two problems are apparent: first, is the likelihood that an inexperienced skier could end up are two very difficult downhill sections. If that is you -... More

The new lodge opened a couple of years ago, vastly improving the size and comfort of the restaurant & rental experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful - the one downside is that there is usually a wait for all services. Get more people to visit & I'm sure they'll hire accordingly. The trails are fantastic. Well marked &... More

After a day of beginner downhill skiing, I decided to come here for calmer snowshoeing. I found a Denver Groupon for $40 for 2 people to get rentals & day pass, usually $80. I convinced another visitor to join me for the deal & enjoyed some solo snowshoeing on the Willow Trail (easy) in the woods & along a mostly... More

Since I don't ski, but like to get outdoors for walks, we decided to visit the nordic center to do some snowshoeing. My husband and I did the blue trail on the first day - it was fine even though I'm not in the greatest shape, we took our time and thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and being outdoors. The trails... Had never been snowshoeing before and found a Groupon for gear and trail pass. Decided to give it a try. Showed up on a Friday morning and found a great staff who were most helpful to a couple of newbies. They explained everything, made sure our gear was the right size and on correctly. They went over maps, trails, rules,... More
