Breckenridge is a great ski area with a large variety of terrain. They are most know for their large easy groomed runs that are great for beginners and intermediate skiers and borders. They do also have very good runs for experts too. Horseshoe bowl which is best accessed from the T-bar has a wide variety of steepness and can be... More

Breckenridge has something for about everyone. The town is great and the mountain is too. Lots of runs to choose from regardless of level of ability. Beginners can have a good time all the way up to experts. Some nice long sections of blues and blue/blacks. They did a pretty good job of grooming the runs so morning skiing had... More

I am not a big winter person but I was blown away by Breckenridge CO. I believe I could live there. It is a lively yet quite place. Lot's of people there yet you can have lot's of privacy outside. A lot of skiing with pro's to help you if you can't. ( depending on where you stay ) The... More

Been going to Breck. since the mid '90's and love it! Plenty of great skiing for all abilities and, because of the altitude - 9700ft in town - great snow on and off piste and virtually no icy patches. Plenty of off piste opportunities and the strange US custom of "walking to the top". Great when you get up there,... More

I have seen reviews comparing Breckenridge to Europe. I am from Europe and I have to say I'll never go back to ski there. Colorado skiers are spoiled with amazing powder, almost never any ice, wide open slopes and lots of sunshine. Vail Mountain has made major investments in Breckenridge, including the recently opened Peak 6 - the first peak... More

Breckenridge is by far one of the best little mountain towns on earth. Started visiting in 1999 and won't ever stop loving as much as I did from the beginning. Great mountain, great town, happy winter wonderland!!

Skiing here was fun. Enjoyed it, great place for the weekend. But...if you're going to stay here and ski for four days or more, reconsider you plan. If you're going to stay in town, that's great, but this is about the skiing. The slopes are terrific, and there's a nice equality of easy and difficult slopes and parts. The view... More

Hello Potato Lemon! Thanks for the review and the nice things you've said about our town and our views -- we appreciate you taking the time to be honest about our resort. In terms of how we compare to Austrian or Swiss ski resorts, we understand your concerns. Last season we installed two new chairlifts on Peak 6 (one of... More

My wife and I visited Breckenridge for the Summer Fun Park...the alpine coaster and alpine slides being the reason for our visit. We bought the tickets online in the UK...they aren't cheap, but if you are staying a few hours they offer the best value compared to paying per ride. The alpine coaster is good fun and the alpine slides... More

Spent the first and sixth day of my six day snowboard vacation at Breckenridge. I was very happy to get to explore peak eight and peak seven the first day staying on the blue runs and an occasional black which didn't seem so much like a black. Conditions were bluebird and grooming was well done. Was talked out of going... More

If your heading to Colorado for the Ski Season, then Breckenridge is an absolute must! Some of the best skiing in the state. Wonderful slopes, great lifts, and the resort is fantastic. Friendly staff, beautiful accommodations, and the nightlife is stimulating!
