When I was a kid, Breck had no lights, dirt roads and you could park free at the base of peak 8. How times have changed! My love for Breck has been it's rich past with mining and it's future growth with winter and summer activities. It's "true town" is a place to wander, shop and eat. It's not a... More

A great 1/2 day excursion for families with kids, I would not recommend for kids over 12 who like a lot of action. But, a great time for everyone else. You can take the free gondola ride from the Main Street area up to the hill, then buy tickets for the rides. The staff was super friendly, well organized and... More

I had no expectation of what I would find at Peak 8 and I was pleasantly surprised, not only were there alot of fun activities for everyone, there was people watching, live music, great food and drinks. Could have spent a lot more time there!

Perfect family vacation! Our family of 8 adults spent 8 days in Breck. We rented a house allowing ski-in/out and close-by to gondolas. Gondolas are run extremely efficiently. The resort offers fantastic instruction and those of us signed up definitely benefited from it. It was well worth the time and investment. Several lifts, beautiful views, perfect conditions. We loved ending... More

Yes, there are lots of slopes and good snow, but after you pay a ridiculous price you stand in loonnnggg lift lines to ski on crowded slopes. Everything is expensive.

Hello queenbeeizme - Thanks for your review as it really does help us make the experience better for our guests. When did you visit? Often you'll find cheaper rates and open trails during the off-peak times of the season (before Christmas, between Martin Luther King Jr. Day and President's Day, before Spring Break and anytime in April.) Also, there are... More

Great ski hill, Breck offers runs from beginner to advanced and a whole lote of terrain so that you never have to ski a run twice. My favourite was the peak and spent much of my time of there. Very high elevation and windy up there but you can grab some great untouched powder, never ices up, so much soft... More

Spent the day at the resort and had beautiful weather! Recommend heading up on the gondola any summer day, beautiful view. My sons loved the Alpine Slide, the tramploline, maze, and mini golfing. Made great memories and they are already asking to go back tomorrow.

This was a fun mountain to ski. It's one of the highest elevations to ski in Colorado and has lots of runs. What makes at great is the town of Breckenridge is so quaint and fun. I really can't wait to go back. Today I was there it had great snow, however the tops of the ridges were closed due... More
