This was fun and free! Beautiful ride to the top of the mountain. We didn't get off just went up and down. The kids liked it so we did 2 rounds. We did get a little nauseous on the second trip so if you have people prone to motion sickness you might want to just do one lap!

The gondola is free in the summer and for an extra $7 you can take a chair lift up higher to do some great hiking among the wildflowers. However, watch for pop up thunderstorms as the chairs are closed down quick and you could end up stranded on the mountain during a downpour. Luckily, we caught the last gondola down... More

We took the trip up on the gondola as a change of pace and loved it. The views while riding up to the peak are well worth the ride. While up at the peak enjoy the surroundings and have a few drinks at the bar.

Nothing said that this attraction would be closed. I'm so sad that we couldn't experience it. So frustrated.

A must do for a little filler trip. Only takes 2 hours. Amazing views of Breck and surrounding mountains.

We had just spent the better part of the day snowmobiling and dog sledding and just needed a little break. Grabbed a quick ride on the FREE Gondola and enjoyed it a lot! You just walk up to the entrance and step on. No tickets needed. Easy on and off. We giggled as the gondola took off as it had... More

Brilliant! Free! Takes you to Peaks 7 and 8. Gorgeous views looking back to the town. Really enjoyable and a fun thing to do. Of course, it provides fabulous access for skiing and at the bottom is right beside the free shuttle and bus terminal. A must ride.

You don't need a ticket to ride the Breck Gondola...and, if you are around in September timeframe, they run an evacuation drill where volunteers ride up, they stop, and the wonderful Breck ski patrol comes and "rescues" you. Then, they feed you afterwards as a "thank you". The rescue is easy, even for the faint hearted. They know what they're... More

Easy on and off and the views through the mountainside neighborhoods was awesome! A must do even if you aren't skiing. Drops you directly at the base of peak 8. Fun ride!

We rode the gondola for free to reach the base of the ski area. The ride was about 20 minutes long each way and proved to be a great way to check out the area.
