We rode the gondola during the summer season when it is free. It takes you from near downtown Breck up to the fun park. You can drive there as well. The gondola cars are stuffy and the windows are pretty scratched so it is an ok ride. There are several things to do once you exit at the fun zone.... More

The Gondola route at Breckenridge is a great transport from the Grand Lodge at Peak 7 to the Main Street. It is a quick ride, visually impressive and free, at least during summer. Notice, however, that in the event of lightning within a 15 mile radius, the Gondola system must shut down for at least 30 minutes. If that happens... More

We love riding the Gondola up in the summer to enjoy the views and for hiking. Great fun for the family or a couple. This is on our must do list for each trip!

Multi-leg trip with panoramic views. Multiple options to enter and exit if you're up for a mountain stroll.

In the last several years, I've taken gondola rides in Switzerland, Norway, and Hong Kong. Breckenridge is the pits in comparison. The windows are so scratched and dirty and old that you can't see out very well. However, I did feel totally safe.

Free ride from town to where many ski runs end. Great ride in a closed gondola. From there you can buy tickets for other activities. We took the second ski lift to the top of the ski run. That one is an open t-lift (I think they call it). We also did a round of mini golf. We thought about... More

The gondola provides a very nice view and smooth ride up to the adventure park. It's conveniently located near quite a few hotels, so you can easily walk there.

Handy for getting from town to the bases of Peak 7 and Peak 8, the Breck Connect Gondola travels above the Cucumber Gulch open space. Keep your eyes open for moose. The Gondola is free, so even if you're not skiing or playing at the Peak 8 Fun Park, it's worth a ride.
