Fantastic views

Free, about the only thing free in town, besides the bus. Nice long ride, clean, stunning views of town. Wish they ran a little later in March, as they close 4:30pm

Even if you are not going skiing, it's a great free trip to take in the great views of the mountain. Round trip takes probably around 10 minutes I would guess. Can't complain when it's free!

After snowboarding in Europe and Canada for 10 years at great expense, to find a Gondola for free (Ok it only takes you up to the bottom of the runs!) was really good and the non boarders among us loved it.

You can park downtown and take this gondola to peak 7 or peak 8. Or you can just take a ride like I did. No lift ticket required. Quiet and warm ( no heater but no wind either) . Enjoy.

Best thing about this is it can take non-skiers to base of Peak 8 where people watching can be great. there's a good view of the terrain park where skiers and snow boarder do insanely stupid things. You'll have plenty of non-skiing company too, so you can spend a day "On the Hill" for free. Food is available, but don't... More

Great lift up and back to Peaks 7 & 8 for skiers and non-skiers. Easy access at the transportation center in Breckenridge. A must do for beautiful scenery.

The gondola takes you to two different base areas, and is a great way to "tour" the mountain for non-skiers.

Quick way between Peaks 7 and 8. When going from 7 to 8, there's a little bit more of a walk as you have to go down some stairs, under the gondola and back up the stairs on the other side.

It's a snowy, cold day and we didn't have much to do so decided to try out the gondolas. So glad we did - the views from up there are amazing and the best part of our day. Great way to end our vacation

Lots of fun and terrific views. Our kids loved it and it was very convenient. They do shut down very quickly if there's any kind of thunder in the area, however.
