Had a really good time visiting Breckenridge distillery. It's definitely an easy place and highly recommended for spending an hour or so. The tours run every half hour and are led by a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. When you get there you were greeted by one of the distillery dogs. I am A sucker for distilleries and wineries that... More

Highest distillery in the world! Stopped here for a complimentary tour and tasting. Probably should have done it after a meal instead of an empty stomach. It was quite an informative tour. They have four bins they named after the ninja turtles (though I believe it's because the distillery process was invented, refined, or perfected in Italy - my memory... More

It is a small distillery with lots of space to grow. They offer a few options like bourbon and vodka. We took the tour and the tasting and enjoyed talking with the folks that work there.

Breckenridge opened just a few years ago and has been getting a lot of good press and distribution. The interesting facts on the tour about the differences in aging at high altitude were fascinating. The whiskey is good and shows promise. They don't yet have the years of experience and aging that you'll find in Kentucky but it's a good... More

Since the distillery did not open until 11 a.m. and we were limited in time I opted to stop at the Tasting Room just off South Main in town. The place is small, but the "one" tasting room staff person was quite accommodating. Although the address is 137 S Main Street, the Tasting Room is actually off the mall area... More

I'm don't drink bourbon but is still a very interesting tour to do to learn about the whole process of making it! At the end they gave us samples of not only bourbon but vodka, rum and bitters (which was my favorite BTW). They have a very neat souvenir store with all types of things made out of bourbon. Loved... Neat place to stop to try a few spirits. Engaging & knowledgable to staff. Try the syrup after trying the bourbon & vodka. It balances out the time there.

The tasting room in Breckenridge is a great place to learn about and taste their bourbons, vodka and bitters. Then head over to the distillery to take a short informative tour on how they make their brews. While waiting for the tour to start (every half hour), enjoy a game of corn hole while sipping a cocktail in their side... More

As an avid whiskey fan, this was a must on my last Colorado tour. The staff is friendly and when the weather is great, there is a outdoor bar to enjoy a local libation at while awaiting your tour. All of the staff is friendly and the tour informative. They have many great products.

My husband recently started exploring a variety of bourbons. So, this tour was a great fit. We were fortunate to have Colin, one of the original principals, conduct our tour. We tasted award winning spirits such as a spiced rum vodka, chile vodka, and bourbon. Success has lead to expansion. It will be fun to revisit in a couple years... More
