Wow....summertime golf in the mounatins. Hit the ball up here and it seems to go for miles (were it not for the roughs!). course is in great shape
After a rough ride from Denver to Breckenridge, (first snow of the season), the rest of the weekend was awesome! Because of the snow from the night before, tee times were delayed to get the snow off the greens. But the experience was well worth the 45 minute wait! My husband and I played the most scenic and varied elevation... More
Well manicured, beautiful vistas on every hole, challenging but not "tricked up". I love playing golf at 9,400 feet elevation. Makes club selection a bit tricky but adds to the wonderful course layout. Played all 27 holes this day. One of my favorite golf courses.
Played three nine hole rounds on this public 27 hole Nicklaus course. Very scenic, typical Nicklaus. Enjoyed Beaver more the Bear. Decent pricing, good service. Course in very nice condition.
Of the 4 area golf courses (within a 15 mile area), Breckenridge is probably the prettiest. However, after dealing several years with the golf course staff, we'd rather play at the other courses. Making a reservation at Breckenridge is more difficult than the others and the staff seem to have the attitude they're doing you a favor letting you play... More
This is a challenging and beautiful mountain golf course. It's a bit pricey, considering it's a municipal course, but definitely worth the price. The restaurant is also great with an outdoor deck overlooking the golf course. The staff were very friendly and accommodating all around. Course was in great shape but greens were a little slow. Overall, this is a... More
This course is surrounded by mountains and, like so many Nicklaus tracks, is very challenging. Also, it might be good to not try to play the first couple days you are here as it is at about 9,500 feet. Well worth the effort. Enjoy the beauty and the challenge of the 27 holes. Just don't pay a lot attention to... More
This is the 2nd time that my wife and I have played the course. We are from Texas and not only is the course in great shape but the mountains in the background are just beautiful. The grill at the clubhouse has a great deck for outdoor eating and good food.
