If you have any riding experience you may be frustrated since these horses are nose to tail horses that need absolutely no direction from the rider. That said, it was still an enjoyable way to get into the mountains. My husband was suffering from altitude sickness and could not hike or mountain bike but was able to ride so we... More

This was the highlight of our trip to Breck. Ages 18 months to adult, our family of 6 had a blast. We will definitely do this again. Our kids had a great time, the horses were well-behaved and our guide was excellent.

About 4 months prior to our trip to Breckenridge, we bought a Groupon for a 2-for-1 dinner trail ride that was stated to be valid through the end of September 2014. I followed the instructions on the Groupon and called their office to obtain a reservation Their employee booked us for a reservation on 8/31/14 (the day we arrive in... More

I took my mom, dad, husband and 2 little boys here for a late afternoon horseback ride with dinner afterwards. Well worth the money, the boys had a blast and the dinner was great! We will be making this a yearly summer trip!

Our group consisted of 7 to 79 year old. The grandkids thought the trail ride was great and would have gotten back on the second we were done and started again. Go on the 8AM trip if able as less crowded, the next trail ride had over 30 people and are group was 12. The grandkids were up front and... More

Family did the dinner trail ride. My 9 and 7 year old were on their own horses and had a great time. I liked the dinner, but wife and kids weren't impressed. Staff was very friendly and encouraged kids to give horses grass and treats. I rode at the end of the line and had a hard time hearing the... More

Friendly and informative staff. Good with kids. Ride through the White River National Forest on Peak 10. Could be pretty muddy if recent rains. Can't take backpacks or water bottles on the ride so pre-hydrate. Coats must be worn if you take one.

The trail ride was a great experience for our family of 11. Even though I had not been on a horse for probably 35 years, I felt completely safe and comfortable. The ride was beautiful and lots of fun. The wrangler for our group was very kind to our five year old grandchild who never stopped asking questions. The only... More

NO stranger to horses here! The staff was knowledgeable and fun. Horses are happy and well taken care of. I would recommend from first timers to experienced riders.

The best part of the trip was our awesome guide. The second best was the drive up to the stables on peak 9. The horses are appeared to be saddled all day and the pace of the ride was very slow. They allow families and inexperienced riders which slows the ride for everyone else.
