I would warn anyone against using Breckenridge Stables. My issue is with Brad, the owner, who cares more about making money than the health/safety of the customers in his care. My child was thrown from her horse when it became frightened by a dog. Nobody from the stables ever called to follow up and Brad's excuse was, "since you refused... More

The staff was friendly and very helpful. One wrangler stayed with our group the entire time and checked I with us to be sure we were doing well. She gave us needed information as we went without overwhelming us. The kids asked when we were going back, hoping it was "next week"!

Called the Breck Stables the afternoon before my husband and I wanted to ride... Several times to only get an answering machine. I left a message and continued calling back with no answer. Wanted the 8am ride. Woke up early and drove to the stables and found all the wranglers saddling and feeding the horses. The girl came over to... More

We've now ridden with Breckenridge Stables twice, and both times were enjoyable. This time we did the dinner trail ride. Totally my bad for not reading the details, but I originally assumed that the dinner ride would be a ride to a cookout somewhere on the trail, and then back. Instead it was a ride followed by a catered meal... More

After working for Breck Stables for a few years (throughout high school and freshman year of college) I wanted to tell everyone what really goes on. My first year I worked there I received no training at all, this was not a problem for me because I have grown up with horses and have been riding since I was 7.... More

I had purchased 2 Groupon packages for our family of 9 to use while visiting Breckenridge. After doing some research I became nervous that using the Groupon was going to be difficult and that the staff would be rude. However, I was pleasantly surprised...when I called in to make the reservation I specified the date I was interested in, and... More

The horse ride was peaceful and fun. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The package we purchased included a dinner buffet which was delicious. I highly recommend Breckenridge Stables for all ages.

We had 7 children (ages 4-15) and two adults on a very nice ride. The horses were matched according to ability and age. The four year old had her own donkey that was led by the lead wrangler. Even the 7 year old had her own horse. We had one nervous rider and she was matched with an appropriate small... More

Our family of 8 enjoyed a peaceful trail ride on the same mountains that we ski during the winter. There were waterfalls and rushing streams. The staff was polite and helpful and everything went very smoothly. The horses were well matched to the riders and well cared for. We plan to do the 90 minute ride again next year. We... More

I made my reservation a month ago for the dinner trail ride. This was a birthday gift for my sister( who is from out of town). We had our whole day planned to show her around Breck and end out day with a fun horse back ride. The company calls the day before( when they require there guests to cancel... More
